So i just updated to 1.7 which includes a optional beta loading screen that has a chance between 1 and 10 % to pop up. I'm not really experienced with working with Nifskope but i got it to work, that said there could be bugs or other problems of the sort, if you encounter any please report them here or in the "bugs" section. Also if you have the experience i need with creating loadingscreens i would really appreciate any help you could give me. Just pm me.

Thanks to everyone who Downloaded, Commented and Endorsed.

Great mod. I am not a military or fallout lore expert but I love what I'm seeing in my fo4 after installing this. Additional thanks for all the fomod options, endorsed!

Just downloaded this and giving it a try.

Looks like you did a great job and must have taken you a long time.

With that said, I don't see any use in using anything but the weathered or fubar textures.

After all, this is 200 something years after the Great War

I get your point - the smaller ammo boxes would "age" if left out in the weather. And any ammunition caches found in the wilderness may look worse for wear depending on where and how it was stored.

I CAN tell you this. Having served in the Armed Forces, I can assure you that "old" ammunition boxes (the small cardboard ones) CAN look as good as the day they rolled out of the factory. This is because all of the little cardboard boxes you find in the game would have originally been packed inside either steel rectangular ammo boxes with the flip lid or wooden containers wrapped in grease paper (just like weapons). These containers themselves would be stored in pallet sized wooden crates and stored in Military establishments or Civilian Warehouses where presumably the raiders/scavengers would recover them from.

========================= Real Life Comparison to Fallout 4's Ammo Crisis ======================================
Where else would ANY of the ammo come from if not from some sort of cache, since no ammo factories can be found in the Commonwealth (sic).
      Imported perhaps? Or Reloaded?

      MANUFACTURING
If you're able to manufacture new ammo how would you transport the ammo? Rattling about In steel ammo cases or large boxes?
If you can make ammo, would it not be conceivable that new boxes could also be made? Given the conditions found in the Commonwealth and surrounding States, any ammo boxes would be made as simple as possible. I suggest they would look more like the dull, light-brown cardboard boxes used by today's Military then the fancy commercial civilian brands found in the game.

      RELOADING
Consider reloading for a moment. Brass shells can only be reloaded so many times (9mm usually 5-9 times depending on powder loads) before they tear/split or just fall apart. Larger cal. (.223/7.62mm) you may get 9-12 times again depending on loads. Then you need to smelt the cartridge down and re-caste it using a hot-metal press. This process can be done manually by a talented blacksmith but it's a very SLOW and complicated process.

      ===========================================================================================================
Let's get back to the game though. Unfortunately for us the FO4 game engine does not use a Random Number Generator to allow it to pick random textures on specific items. It's a real shame.
Otherwise we'd all be happy, no? Just think. Coffee cups and T-Shirts with a Bazillion different slogans!

Well, in Skyrim there is a mod that allows monsters and animals to spawn with random textures, like a pack of wolves with one very damaged.
      Just saying!

I think this is a great mod, I love how thorough you were with the textures. I do have two questions/suggestions though:

    1) Could you do a mod like this but re texturing the New Calibers Ammo
    2) Could you combine all your texture mods into one

Would you consider a version compatible with Better Ammo Boxes mod ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8087/? )? It would be just a regular Ammo Retexture, but without these files:
    Textures\Ammo\10mm\10mm_d.dds
    Textures\Ammo\308\308_d.DDS
    Textures\Ammo\32Caliber\32CaliberBox_d.DDS
    Textures\Ammo\44\44CalBox_d.DDS
    Textures\Ammo\45Cal\45Caliber_d.DDS
    Textures\Ammo\5.56\556Mil_d.dds
    Textures\Ammo\50Caliber\50Cal_d.DDS
    Textures\Ammo\5mm\5mmAmmoBox_d.DDS
    Textures\Ammo\ShotgunShell\ShotgunShellBox2_d.dds
    Textures\Ammo\ShotgunShell\ShotgunShellBox2_s.dds
    Textures\Weapons\shotgun\ShotgunShell_d.dds
    Textures\DLC03\Ammo\4570Ammo_d.dds

Both mods try to change the same things, but this mod also changes shell casings, while Better Ammo Boxes does not. However, BAB is lore-friendly, while this mod uses real-life ammo brands, as far as i understand.
Obviously, just installing Better Ammo Boxes after this mod gives the desired behaviour, but i thought that it would be useful for less mod-savvy players to be explicitly told that they can actually do this.

I guess the sure method is to install this first, THEN install the other mods. I didn't notice the ammo brands until you bring this up!
