Hey all, I plan on making an update for this mod a long time ago, but with my current busy RL engagements (uni work) I barely have time to load up my game nowadays. I can guarantee that there's going to be an update coming (new songs etc.) but I have no idea when I could deliver it.

So please bear with me, thank you. Have a nice day all :)

If I could endorse twice I would. Biggest pet peeve of F04 is that idiot on the radio Travis saying the same crap, and the same limited set of tracks gets boresome.
Thanks for significantly improving my experience with this mod!

Hi again, I'm not pointing fingers just trying to find out what's causing the bug for quest Curtain Call on my game, after discovering the bug I already uninstalled your mod and got DCR working again. Your mod never touch other radio broadcast right? Did a search online some players encountered same bug way back in January 2020, so it could be anything. Loaded an older save at Diamond City and straight away pick up the Trinity Tower Radio broadcast, as I arrived at the building the Curtain Call quest starts up normally.

Long story: I wasn't able to recruit Anne Hargraves from WRVR broadcast station to my settlement so I check out the related quest Curtain Call, needed to rescue Rex Goodman. So I went to Trinity Tower I never got the radio broadcast from Rex Goodman (with your GNN mod already installed), went up to find Rex Goodman but he won't talk to me. Reloaded the game then I notice Strong is standing outside the building! LoL he says "You ready find milk?" like I have beaten the quest but I haven't even started it. Uninstalled your mod, reload game again still no broadcast then restarted the quest with console commands and got the Curtain Call in my quest list telling me to listen to the Trinity Tower radio broadcast but it never show up in my Pip-Boy Radio when walking back to Trinity Tower, and Strong is still outside the building same old. Having problem with Rex too in the end used console commands to complete the quest, finally able to recruit Anne Hargraves and Strong.

No, this mod doesn't even change DCR at all, except for disabling it, which could be easily restarted without any repercussion.

I don't think this mod would have affected Trinity Tower Radio station, if at all, the mod might have affected the silver shroud quest but not Curtain Call.

I am sorry to hear that, I checked the official fallout wiki and this bug you described doesn't seem to be documented on there, so I would hazard a guess and suggest that it is likely caused one of your other mods.

Do you have any mods that caused the placement of npcs to be changed? That could potentially be the culprit of this glitch.

Sigh I have over 200 mods running, none of them touch Strong, Rex Goodman or Trinity Tower in description. Trying to disable and find out, one of them definitely caused the bug.

I know this is old, but did you ever figure it out??  Got the exact same issue.  No idea what mod could be causing it.

Figured it out.  It was Player Comments and Head Tracking.  No idea why.  I disabled the mod, then started Curtain Call via the console settings its stage to 100.  Then bam, the radio broadcast started and Strong walked into Trinity Plaza.  I was able to come back and finish the quest normally.  Keep in mind too that the radio broadcast is range limited.  Up next to Diamond City it will stop.

Not sure how you handle shuffle play in this, but it doesn't shuffle properly. You get like four songs on repeat and unfortunately one of those four usually ends up being one of the Butcher Pete songs, dear me.
Also, but this is very minor, none of the radios out in the Commonwealth had their station changed, they are all tuned to DCR and thus simply play static, since DCR is disabled.

Travis being gone is awesome, but for now I can't let this mod stay enabled - my radio stays off as much as it did with Travis still spouting his crap. Great song choice so far, tho, and shutting off Travis earns you an endorsement anyway. Sincerely hope you'll continue working on this mod.

Just wanted to say this is also great for skk50's Open World mod that removes all humans and thus kills DCR. Having something besides the classical station makes it much better.

I really want to use this mod but LOOT is giving me red warnings over your incorrectly packaged ESL causing potential permanent save game damage; I can tell you put alot of love into this work so wanted to let you know.

GNN 2.0.0 radio songs on Pip-Boy are playing fine without problems. But I've noticed the Radios in the world and those crafted in settlement stays silent until I've turn on the GNN National Broadcast on my Pip-Boy. This happens even on a new play through.

Coming across the powered on radios (playing Diamond City Radio) in the game I remembered hearing them playing, but not anymore since I've installed this mod. When I load up a saved game all the powered on radios in my settlement are also silent. One example is the radio in Sanctuary Hill's Root Cellar, it is powered off initially but when I switched it on off on it's just not playing, it will only play after I switched on GNN on my Pip-Boy, and continue to play the song after switching off on Pip-Boy.

Interesting thing is when I saved game with GNN switched off on Pip-Boy inside the Root Cellar then reload game, the Root Cellar radio is still playing, but after that song is done the radio went silent. Also once I left to go out to Sanctuary Hill then go back inside that radio went silent again. I think I found out why, all the radios in the world will play one song only when activated with Pip-Boy then after the song is done the radio went silent. I have no other radio mods installed only GNN.

Not really a big deal but it's kind of immersion breaking and a hassle LoL. I thank you again for your time and effort in making and maintaining this mod, take care and stay safe.

The shuffling script was told to only randomise itself when the player’s pipboy is currently activated and tuned to GNN, this was initially implemented to avoid the CPU from working itself overtime randomising the song order even when the player wasn’t  actively listening to it.

But I forgot that there are a number of radio stations pre-tuned that would also be affected, too. Because with this script in place, it is going to actively check if the player’s pipboy is listening to GNN otherwise it will stop randomising songs; hence the result of finishing the 1 song and go into radio silence after switching it off on pipboy. I could fix it, it’s not too much of a problem. Thanks for bringing this up :)

I have been thinking about expanding the existing song list, but all songs added need to in the public domain so it might take sometime before I compile a list of songs to add to the new update :)

      Thanks for your compliment!
