About this mod
A standalone radio station that contains all songs from DCR but removes Travis the DJ, also adds in a couple of new songs. Perfect for those playing Naugrim04's Frost Survival Simulator.
Auf Wiedersehen Travis.

Thank you all for checking this mod out! A huge shout out to ResGestaeIV for helping me out so generously, who has successfully resolved the notorious "He's a Demon" endless loop so hopefully update 2.0.0 will take care of that problem.
[NEW!] The newer version will also disable Diamond City Radio (or Frost's Galaxy News Radio) for you automatically so you no longer need to do that yourself.
There is also a newly added start-up song included in the audio file so - if you are upgrading from older versions - be sure you re-download both GNNBroadcast.esp and the new GNNBroadcast - Main.ba2 files.
I apologise for the inconvenience but thank you, once again, for the support!
INTRO:
This mod was created from a Frost-oriented perspective; in Frost, the game takes place only 5 years after the Great War so there is no way for there to be a Diamond City radio, let alone having Travis Miles being its DJ.
The new, standalone "GNN National Broadcast" takes cares of that by cutting Travis completely out of the picture while keeping the original DCR tracks intact.

CHANGES:
Apart from completely removing Travis, this mod also "hijacks" all existing radios that were originally tuned to Diamond City Radio to now play the tracks of this radio. The vanilla craftable workshop radio tuned to Diamond City Radio now will air whatever ”GNN National Broadcast" plays, without any sign of Travis.
Again, this was made with a Frost-oriented mindset so it might not be what vanilla players are looking for.

FEATURES:
All 37 tracks (actually it is 38 because I have no idea why there are two versions of The Wanderer) from Diamond City Radio + 15 new tracks (All taken from archive.org) and some pre-war news broadcast plus some ads because GNN needed them moneh.
New Songs:
- Gloomy Sunday - Billie Holiday
- Autumn in New York - Billie Holiday
- Let Me Call You Sweetheart - Bing Crosby
- Roses in the Rain - Marjorie Hughes
- Congratulations - Gregg Lawrence
- Saturday Night is the Loneliest Night of the Week - Phyliss Lynne
- Save a Piece of Wedding Cake for Me - Bob Lochen
- Without You (Tres Palabras) - Marjorie Hughes
- There's That Lonely Feeling Again - Marjorie Hughes
- Welcome to My Dream - Jack Leonard
- Johnny Guitar - Peggy Lee
- There's No Place Like Home for Holidays - Perry Como
- Oh How I Miss You Tonight - Perry Como
- Blue Velvet - Herb George (Replaces one of the "The Wanderer" songs)
- 12th Street Rag - Lionel Hampton (Radio start-up song)
INSTALLATION:
Install this as you would a regular mod via a mod manager or vortex.
For manual install: Drag both GNNBroadcast.esp and GNNBroadcast - Main.ba2 (contains the scripts* as well as the songs) into your Data directory and then activate the plug in.
----------
* For those updating from older versions, you need the updated scripts for the mod to function properly so be sure you download the main file as well!
TO FROST USERS:
Again, this is a standalone radio. Meaning this mod introduces a new radio station called “GNN National Broadcast" to your pipboy but does not directly replace "Galaxy News Radio" (Frost's DCR).
With update 2.0.0, Galaxy News Radio will be automatically disabled upon successful installation of this mod. You should see this on pop-up telling you that the radio station has been turned off:

COMPATIBILITY:
GNN National Broadcast has its transmission frequency set to 95.475128 - Unless another radio station occupies the exact same frequency (to the same decimal places), it is guaranteed to be compatible with literally all radio stations out there.
TO TROUBLESHOOT:
If, for whatever reason, the radio stopped playing music, simply enter the following commands to terminate/re-initiate radio signal:
StopQuest GNNBroadcastQuest
StartQuest GNNBroadcastQuest
TO RE-ENABLE DIAMOND CITY RADIO:
If you would like to re-enable Diamond City Radio (or Frost's Galaxy News Radio, not sure why you would like to), use this console command:
StartQuest RadioDiamondCity
REQUIREMENTS:
None really, other than FO4 base game. Frost Survival Simulator is by no means a prerequisite but it is a very cool (heh) mod so be sure to check it out.
