    Since my PC is gone, i cant mod anything for Fo4 at the moment.
    This is for report bugs too. Sorry.

    Now Update to Version 4!

    I still take request if you found some NPC what are unique and not essential or protected and need to be added into the list.


    Here is a list of NPCs what i DONT add into the list and note with a reason:

    Random encouter:
    Stash and her guards Lexa and Simon - they have a second encouter after the first one, so it will break them when set protected or essential.
    DO NOT made them essential yourself, or you will really break this encouters.

    Art and the synth Art - it will break the random encouter if they set protected or essential.
    If you wanna keep one or both Art alive after the encouter appears, please use yourself the console commands and made them protected or essential.

    Jules from the encouter with Fred and Angie - it will break this encouter if Jules set be protected or essential.
    If you wanna keep Jules alive after the encouter appears, please use yourself the console commands and made him protected or essential.

    Dreth - is already flagged protected from the basegame, i wont changed this into essential because she and her guards are flagged as the enemy Gunner faction.

    Bunker Hill:
    Kessler
    Deb
    Kay
    Meg
    Joe Savoldi
    Tony Savoldi
    Old Man Stockton
    They all are flagged protected from the basegame.

    Finch Farm:
    Jake Finch - is flagged protected from the basegame, and i wont changed into essential because to do not break a hidden quest.

    Warwick Homestead:
    Roger Warwick - is flagged protected from the basegame, and i wont changed into essential because to do not break a hidden quest.

    Bill Sutton - because, if he sets protected or essential, it will highly break some quest what he is involved.
    Solution for you, if you wanna keep him alive:
    Steal his letter from his inventory (this avoid a "random encouter" death of him) and put some stimpak in his inventory (steal modus and move stimpak inside). Maybe you can give him a good armor to survive any damage. SAVEGAME before you do this!
    If you wanna keep him alive AFTER the quests, please use yourself the console commands and made him essential - DO NOT THIS BEFORE.

    The Covenant:
    Swanson - is flagged protected from the basegame.

    Amelia Stockton - if she is set protected or essential, it will break the Quest "Human Error".
    If you wanna keep her alive after the quest, please use yourself the console commands and made her protected or essential.

    Vault 81:
    Tina DeLuca - is flagged essential from the basegame.

    Diamond City:
    NPCs from Diamond City NO need to be added. They live in a safe place with no unseen enemy spawns what attack them.
    Exceptions:
    Mel (owner of the eyebot Sonya Mk II) - is already essential from basegame (random encouter version too, there are no seperate files of him).
    Travis Miles - added into the list, because you do a quest with him outside of Diamond City, what he need to be survive.

    Drumlin Dinner:
    Trudy and her son Patrick
    Wolfgang
    and Simone
    They all are flagged protected from the basegame.

    Sanctuary Hills:
    Marcy Long
    Jun Long
    Sturges
    Mama Murphy
    Preston Garvey

    Because all Sanctuary Hills unique settlers and Preston are already essential from basegame. Preston is an optional follower and they are always essential. Every people should normally knows they are unkillable, by player character too.
    I dont know, why i get asked about them twice times.
    Maybe some of you use a mod what made them killable, so please look into your mod list and remove that.

    Will this mark essential any dogs I catch using cages from the workshop DLC?

    UFO4P version of this mod conflicts with two NPCs at The Slog - Deirdre & Arlen. UFO4P (way back, v2.0.4 as a bugfix) made them Protected. Don't know if essential borks some quest conditional. Anyway, just removing them in FO4edit will revert them to keep UFO4P's status. Thanks for sharing.

      Found another conflict, this time with Recruit Shelly Tiller. But I found that by loading (the esp version of) that mod after this mod, you can at least recruit Shelly if you do so while in 3rd Person (or maybe by enabling dialogue camera in main game settings).

    Professor Good Feels disappears from Sunshine Tidings, can't tell if your mod fails because he simply is unavailable.

    I don't see Ashes the Cat from Vault 81 anywhere? Can be killed, and is quest essential to get Curie. And not in the list of ones with reasons not to protect them.

    I don't know why but it's not working for me , i was looking for a mod to keep the caravan alive ,when i fast traveled to covenant i think he is called larry the one that sells armor, he and his guards get attacked and killed i cant save them i loaded my save  i installed the mod but it does not work they keep getting killed.

    Oh wow I could have used this. In the last two days every family member of the Finches and the Abernathy's have died in Bot attacks. Only the family Patriarch of each is still living. So not only do they just walk right past their dead loved ones to go work the field, I had to do a mad recruitment drive in other bases to get some people to make the locations viable again. This is a real good thing you did with this mod!

    Love this mod. I looked it up ever since a trader I encountered died from a mirelurk queen. No more sadness since :D :D

    Will there be an issue if I have this mod along with the immortal cats mod?
