I may have found the issue - for some reason, when I extract the mod, it creates a borked Sound directory. (This is one titled "Sound ", with that trailing space, and is malformed somehow to the point that it not only doesn't provide correct in formation in Properties, but it claims to not be present at all when attempting to delete it.) This happens when using the LaPresidente fork of Mod Organizer 2, or manually extracting with WinRAR or 7zip.
My solution was to create the base mod directory, create a "Sound" directory inside, then extract the original archive elsewhere. From that, copy over the "textures" directory, and copy the entire contents of the "Sound " directory to your newly-created one. I then re-archived the brand-new mod folder and installed via MO2, just to be sure everything was working.
And now, I'm enjoying a much more laid-back Minutemen experience... thanks!
I checked the file structure and everything is good. I even re-downloaded the file and wrote over mine, works fine? I dunno why it won't work on yours. Can you not hear it off the pip-boy or a radio or both?
I've looked into this. The problem isn't with tookie's mod, it's just another NMM hiccup. Maybe it doesn't like RAR files? I don't know. It creates the correct directories for the music, it just doesn't move them as it should.
Here's the path: <game folder>\Data\Sound\fx\mus\radio\minutemen
NMM will create this if it doesn't exist. If NMM doesn't copy the files as they should, use 7zip to open the rar and extract them over manually. NMM -will- uninstall it correctly.
Hey there. Ive noticed some wierd things with the radio too, except with diamond city radio for me. Sometimes it all works and plays just fine! And sometimes it just doesn't. And i cant figure out why? I went thru each song one by one and converted them, to make sure they turned out ok. I also notice sometimes it comes thru my pip radio and not a world radio, however turning on and off the station in your pip-boy seems to boot up the nearby radio!? This happens to me for Diamond city radio, so maybe its the same thing for you, just with Radio Freedom. Sry I dont have any better answers but I'll keep looking into it.
