Why is it chambered in 38.???  The fact you cant change ammo type to 45.70 is horse shit.

uhhh this is just a replacer.... think you meant your comment for the original mod's page. also the .45-70 is far too big to fit in a model 1873. its not horseshit, its just accurate.

yup indeed. but it's the closest caliber in vanilla fo4, which was the point i imagine.

Found a bug. NPCs spwan with this gun have incorrect ammo.
Need to do some fixes in FO4Edit.
First, find "LNAM - NPC Add Ammo List" in column "Weapon"-"DLC03_LeverGun". Change the record to "LL_Ammo_38Caliber [LVLI:0067384]".
Second, for the companion, need to edit "Weapon"-"DLC03_CompLeverGun". Change to "Companion_LL_Ammo_38Caliber [LVLI:FE001800]".

Oh yeah this is an issue with the source gun. Tried to not touch records in case of update change cos I released this around the time it was released. Should patch it now that things are unchanged. I'll sort it after work if I remember

the point of this mod is to replace the lever-action rifle. you could turn off the distribution of the original mod by doing a clean save, then opening the original mod up in fo4edit and turning off the 'on start up' element of the distribution quest, then adding it back into your game.

For the average mod downloader, having to fire up FO4Edit (or even knowing it exists) is anything but "Simple".   Just saying.

I think you should update the description page so other people know that they can port it to xbox because it says in perms that it is not allowed to be port to bethesda.net a lot of people will believe that I don't know how to upload it to xbox because I am very new at this and no one will teach me how to do it. :(
