If you are upgrading from Tactical Action Extension Package (original version),
you should do following command at console.

to add to that, when you press the "Sliding/LayDown/CoverAction Key" moving forward the character dives but goes back up instead of going to the prone position with compatible weapons, afternun0123 just forgot to set the NextState to prone after diving, so here is a quick fix of the script

btw you don't need the whole ru556 and xm2010 to be installed, just extract those mods mesh's ba2 and it works too

Cannot get any part of this mod to work. The .txt and .JSON files are not where they were said to be. Putting cqf tooun_animationpack_q getsneakkey into the console in game just says compiled script not saved.

    What's going on here?

Is it possible to remove or move the HUD? I hate that little character in the bottom left side. It doesn't fit in with the HUD I'm using atm.

Nvm I figured it out. Now I wanna know instead if it's possible to bind the dodge key to ctrl, shift or alt? Can I edit an .ini somewhere? It wont allow me to bind anything to those keys through MCM.

      cqf tooun_animationpack_q SetPos x y

Type that in the console and replace X and Y with numbers. What worked for me was:

      cqf tooun_animationpack_q SetPos 30 630

I didnt even have the issue, but I came back to say thank you for not leaving it at "I figured it out". That is one of the worst crimes on the internet and you avoided it. Well done.

If any of you are having problems with going Prone/Supine (like I have been for the last hour trying to figure this out) I think I've figured out an easy workaround (that doesn't require you to go messing around with any files). I should specify that I only tested this on a keyboard, so I don't know if this might help anyone who can't get it to work on a controller.

If you're running into the same problem as I am, the "Sprint/Sneak/Dodge" and "Sliding/Prone/Cover Actions" buttons do nothing even when assigned properly. I have no idea why this is happening as I cleared all my mods and did a fresh install of this mod just to see if it was a mod compatibility issue but it didn't fix anything.

So here's the weird work around I've found:

Firstly, assign "Dodge" and "Slide" to keys under the "Separated keys (faster)" section in Tactical Action Extension, Action Keys. Hopefully these should still work fine, even if the other Action Keys options don't, and you should be able to manually Dodge and Sprint with separate button presses.

Secondly, assign "Sliding/Prone/Cover Actions" under the "All-in-one combination key" section to a key.

(This is probably a good point to mention that you're going to want to find some kind of button layout you're comfortable with for this. I have "Dodge" and "Slide" assigned to my Mouse4 and Mouse5 buttons on the left of my mouse, and I have "Sliding/Prone/Cover Actions" assigned to my F key, because I personally found it was really cumbersome using this work around without having the "Sliding/Prone/Cover Actions" button close to WASD.)

Finally, in the Functions tab in Tactical Action Extension, make sure these settings are correct:

    Enable Sneak Dodge: ON
    Enable Sneak Slide: ON
    Force Supine: OFF

Now, when you Dodge forward, left, or right, press the "Sliding/Prone/Cover Actions" key once the animation finishes and you'll go Prone (you might have to get used to the timing, you want to hold the "Sliding/Prone/Cover Actions" key at the end of the dodge roll).

When you Slide (direction doesn't matter) you can hold the "Sliding/Prone/Cover Actions" key at any point and you'll enter Supine when the animation finishes.

I've noticed that if you Dodge and then enter Prone, you'll have to Dodge twice before you can enter Prone again - but, if you Dodge, enter Prone, and then press Slide instead, your character will Sneak instead of immediately sliding, at which point you can Dodge and go into Prone without having to Dodge twice (it also has the added benefit of not looking goofy as the Prone to Sneak animation is pretty clean)

I have like 70 mods installed, including separate animation mods, and this works fine with no compatibility issues. Lemme know if this works for any of you, because I'm not sure what the issue is with the "Sliding/Prone/Cover Actions" key not working by itself for some people so hopefully it could give the author of this mod some insight into what the problem is.

As an aside, if any of you are currently trying to get this to work with the "Tactical Action Extension Package Extended Tweaks" mod - I'm pretty sure it's currently impossible until the modder that created that mod updates it. It does say on the mod that it only works with a version of this mod that's from September of last year. I did find and download the "2022.9.3" version of this mod to use with the Extended Tweaks add-on, and it did work - however it was a little janky. The animation is super clean, but it auto-forces you into first person for the animation (I tried a bunch of different ways to get the animation to play in third person, with no luck) and you immediately pop into third person and back into first person (regardless of if you started the animation in third or first person). It looks super cool and I like how it updated the dodges from this mod, but personally the pop-in from first to third person kinda kills it for me, so I hope they update it soon to work with this mod again.

Also, I noticed a few people saying they don't like the UI sneaking indicator in the bottom left. Instead of messing around with the console or going into F04 Editor, you can just go to the mod page for Tactical Action Extension Package (Beta) and download the "delete the Tactical Action UI.Data" optional file. It works fine with this version of the mod. I haven't noticed any issues.

The instructions are damn near non existent. Control map txt has hex ID's like 0x53 for "back" and your "My settings" gives no way on understanding how to use your setup for the control map and there is no control map.txt to download so that people can simply use the file instead. Does anyone have clear instruction on how to get this functional for all of the additional animations?
