I might consider this mod in the future, I'd have to test how it would interact with something like CHEF since that mod doesn't really edit the vanilla meals or creatures. It just adds in new food/drink recipes that you craft using the meat/vegetables already in the game. Otherwise I'm not sure how it would interact with "Clean Cooking" as that changes all recipes that require dirty water to require purified water instead, though I'd likely have to use FO4Edit on it's steak changes.
The only other thing I'd have to be careful with is Hot Diggity since it has a Deer Hunter perk that increases the meat yield on Radstags.
Mods that only add new recipes should be fine. They'd have output inconsistencies with the vanilla recipe edits, but nothing game breaking.
The Deer Hunter perk shouldn't be too bad, I think, since I added some mild RNG to the perk mag's bonus amounts. Rather than a flat +1 you can get an extra 0-3 meat, with a 50% chance dice-rolled for each individual piece of meat.
Comes from Horizon; which is why I'm interested in this mod. I feel like it's too unfair without jacking up animal spawns to make food but that's just me.
Terrific mod! Very to the point without throwing the balance off too much. Some other mods make the meat yield insane, this one makes it just right and manages to place itself between the field of how much meat one would expect and becoming overencumbered due to how much meat a player is carrying.
Yeah, version numbering can be very iffy but NMM's missing mod info function or equivalent for the other mod managers will sort it. (For NMM, just disable the Update alert indicator almost certain to pop up after; we really do need to check manually for updates, especially once you hit the 200+ mod count)
