Amazing! Loading screens always gave me nauseating feeling because UI elements were moving a little wanky in VR. Only 3D models are tracked correctly in VR in loading screen. Now I can disable everything except 3D models and all is perfect :) Thanks you!
I installed this as part of the Fallout 4 VR Essentials Wabbajack, and I love it! But the level text isn't centered on the loading bar and it's driving me crazy. Do you know what could be causing this? I tried putting it at the top of the load order and the bottom. Still not centered.
The text that says "Level X", or in terms of the examples on the mod page says "Level 25", can only be absolutely positioned and isn't dynamic depending on the length of the text.
This unfortunately means that any level below 10 will appear left of center. Levels from 10 to 99 should all be roughly in the center however. I wish I could've made it so that is was justified to the center always, regardless of the level number, but this is the best I could do.
Just hang in there until you get level 10!
Hope that clears things up, and glad to hear that you otherwise enjoy the mod!
Noticed that the font replacer for the versions with the loading tip makes the ammo counts on your right hand hud panel get cut off slightly. I think that font might be a bit too chunky for it. Might want to try replacing that one with a thinner version of the same font.
I would've replied earlier, but been busy and unable to properly try the mod until now. Well I've tried it and it does the basic stuff, but a model of some guy or bed or gun keeps popping up. It is not deleting the models and leaving just the loading bar.
Any suggestions what may be wrong here? p.s. EDIT: Ok Disregard. I forgot that sometimes Vortex doesn't activate the Plugins. I checked and activated it and now it works as intended. Thankyou and Endorsed. This Mod deserves a LOT more attention. I will try to mention it to others as and when.
I'm happy to hear that it's working and thank you for endorsing!
Keep in mind that you can disable the plugin if you want and add the line fLoadingMenuScreenModelScale=0 to the [VRUI] section of your Fallout4Custom.ini file instead. The only thing that the plugin does is load the included .ini file which adds this same value upon loading the game.
This looks absolutely excellent! I've always had problems with Loading screens cos I don't like all the give away stuff or the models.I just want a simple, plain screen. Abysmal (blank) I'll take or just the one with the lore writing.
Before I uninstall the old Loadscreen mods and try, will this work for added DLCs too?
Thank you! Glad to hear and hope that you will enjoy it!
Yes, this mod will work together with the DLCs without any problems. It could also be interesting to know that it will work without any issues together with any mods that add new VDSG entries (lore writing). The only thing it won't work with is other mods making changes to the file LoadingMenu.swf.

[VRUI]
fLoadingMenuScreenModelScale=0
This is what turns off the loading screen models.
