what new in version 1.02?
1-Boston police rationing site is now also under gunner control
2-bunker hill, now has hired gunner mercenaries protecting the merchants
3-the compatibility problem with other vertibird mods should be solved(hopefully!)
4-now you can have gunner bodyguards and gunner settlers for your settlement
(
buy the beacon grenades from arturo in DC and use them where ever you want)
5-the tall building near GNN now has a small interior cell,and a working elevator
6-fixes some other bugs and adds some more gunners but this doesn't count! :p

what's new in version 1.01?

1-The gunners who disappear when dead,now will spawn a duffle bag that contains whatever loot they had,activate it and you'll receive the items,and the bag will disappear

2-Suicidal gunners now either level up with you, or they are level 10 (problem in previous version was that they were lvl 70!)

3- some elevators added on the side of the highways,where gunners are stationed,now remember it doesn't cover every gunner station on the highways, because then i had to add an elevator every 100 meters on the highways,which would have been ridiculous!
4- for some reason,it appears that there are more gunner vertibirds in the game,than what i put there! or maybe,just maybe it's the patrol birds and their schedules are overlapping with one another on certain locations, anyway i removed some of the patrol birds in an attempt to address this issue
5- more gunners in general, add another 50-60 gunners to the previous total of almost 150.

So, a few weeks ago,i uploaded a gunner mod that was basically 500 new gunners scattered mostly in the southern regions of the map such as Boston and south boston and on the highways and overpasses... obviously the sheer number alone caused some problems such as CTD , and it still needed some work to reach it potentials, so i decided to work on it and enhance it, however the changes i had in mind were so radical and vast, that i decided to remake the mod from scratch.

So here it goes:

MORE GUNNERS 


Do you like fighting the gunners? do you believe that bethesda vastly underestimated and ignored the gunners? have you finished the game, and all the strong factions but the gunners are gone? and you are left with talkative preston and a bunch of weak raiders? 

Then this mod is for you!

  • more than 10 new gunner bases, including most of the relay towers (the red antennas that mostly play military warnings when activated), weston water treatment plant(gunners now control it instead of supermutants) , 3 unmarked location (now fully populated with gunners) .the filling station near fort hagen, and a tall building near gunners plaza
  • Quincy and GNN now have 1.5 times more gunners protecting them
  • Gunner Vertibirds, some protect a specific location, and some travel between their bases and patrol the roads,and some fly beyond gunner borders to do recon operations...
  • Gunner patrols, there are now 6 groups of gunners including a commander with PA, an assaultron and a few gunners patrolling the roads between their bases, and they are set to respawn so you'll encounter them over and over again...
  • a lot more gunners on the highways and overpasses, i also used their insignia on the billboards and Road signs around where they are stationed so not only it feels more realistic,but you'll know what you are walking into ahead of time...
  • Suicidal Gunners, a new type of gunner soldiers, now if it is clear that you want to attack a gunner base,there is a small chance that you see an armored gunner running towards you with a machete, and as soon as they die (naturally close to you because they have melee weapons), they will explode.
  • overall,adds about a 100-150 new gunners,(most of them respawn) to the game


I guess that's about it, oh and BTW ,it's very important: if you see some of the gunners disappear after they die, don't freak out! it's not a bug or a glitch.it's a trick i use in massive battle mods to make sure the game runs smoothly and without fps drop.

One more thing, for those of you who have my previous gunner mod and enjoyed fighting large groups of gunners, and you think 100 gunners is way less than 500, if you think your system is up to the task,who's to say you can't have both mods together? because as i mentioned in the other mod, that one is compatible with pretty much any other gunner mods...
