That doesn't make any sense, since my Gatling allows me to make over 1000 shots, while this in fact will reduce capacity of every Fusion Core to less than 50%.
Just a late reply... first your getting 500 Gatling Fusion Cores for 1 normal fusion core.. that means your getting 500% more shots. Secondly in vanilla the Gatling only has 500 shots. If you have 1000.. your using a mod. 3rd.. there is an option to have 1000 shots per gatling core.

sanenomore are you trolling? you do realize that this entire mods idea is to turn the fusion cores specifically INTO an ammo type for the gatling laser. it isn't a 500% increase, it's a 50% decrease, because fusion cores themselves already contain 500 shots, and 1000 with full nuclear physicist. although seems like they did add the option to have it turn 1 fusion core to 500 or 1000
Wonderful idea! It's compatible with Legendary Modification, but sadly, not with the optional 2LM workbench from that mod. If you use that workbench to make a Gatling Laser with two Legendary mod slots, it will use the vanilla fusion cores for ammo.

He simply implies that fusion cores are the most cost effective ammo in the game, as you may buy them for 200 caps, but thy have 500 shots...this is a vanilla thing, also.
Not sure I'd call it a bug but I did discover an exploit with this mod. The recipe in the chem station doesn't take into account the Fusion Core charge so a Fusion Core will award 500 or 1000 Gatling Laser Cores (depending on the install option) regardless of if it's charge is at 100/100, 0/100, or anywhere in between so enterprising exploiters can pull their fusion cores out of their power armor when they get low and use those to make Gatling Laser Fusion Cores with no penalty.
