This was just starting to annoy tf out of me. Thanks, can't wait to give it a try. I was always annoyed how some modded weapons played nicely and others didn't.
I'll write it as soon as I can. Keep in mind though, it's a liiitle bit advanced for some users, so I'll be open for requests (as long as the mod itself is not too big size-wise)
Thanks for the guide, I think it's super helpful if making a separate patch/mod (like you did). I wound up make my own fixes by editing the mod itself (pretty much following the 2nd half of your guide) - the instructions on this mods description page helped me out last week.
Not berating or diminishing your efforts here (so please don't take it the wrong way) but I wanted to add that so if someone wanted to make edits to the mod itself, its a bit quicker. Obviously can't load that up to the nexus so your method is far superior when wanting to share with others.
@Dimedius I did that at first, but I saw some random values being edited when comparing the original esp with the one I modified. I don't really know if that's a problem or not, but I didn't want to take the risk and spread something that could possibly break a mod.
Also, I've always prefered to make new plugins to edit mods because I still have the original if anything goes wrong and they persist through updates. When updating, if anything changed in the mod, I can just carry those to my esp and still have my modifications.
That's actually why I have around 10 esp/esl plugins in my game.
