ENGLISH The new Version 1.0.3 contains Adjustments that fixed a problem that the Pipboy flashlight had and the lights I hope that the adjustments fix those two errors that the patch was giving - I recommended mod Solar Sensor Switch.
The bloom fix doesn't work with the interior lighting option for NACX. The bloom appears to be baked into that option, because as soon as you change cells it comes back.
Hypothetically speaking, would it be possible to make a version of NAC X which only includes the new skyboxes and some of the new radiation storms?
Ideally this version would also be compatible with more vanilla friendly weather mods, such as True Storms and Vivid Weathers.
I've always said that this mod has such potential in how it handles its weather system, but is filled with so much unnecessary and unfinished crap and is one of the greatest examples of feature bloat I've ever come across.
I just want new weathers, why are you changing vanilla skin tones and essentially breaking Fallout 4's lighting and making me the user rebuild it by fiddling around in the Pipboy unless I have the MCM add-on installed which was graciously made by another author?
I was wondering why this mod causes an adaptation glitch for me, that whole screen turning black before returning to normal. Only happens with this mod enabled.
Hello, the solution to that problem is the following - do not deactivate the ocular adaptation in the nac X MOD, since I manually fix the ocular adaptation. disabling the option in the NAC menu will give you black screen problems. if you use mods that overwrite the setting the tweak may not work
I always wondered exactly what caused this. It has been in the NAC mods since the first one. My latest play though, merged NAC X and True Storms. I deleted the quests in NAC. That removes all the FX, scripts and configurations and the blackout bug. I added all the weathers to the default climate(except the Nuke weathers). I then removed all the weather references from the region data(except glowing sea). The game then defaults to the default climate with the all the True Storms and NAC weathers. Also did this for Nuka World And FH. Random weather everywhere. I did this so i could just drop that into my Fallout 4 VR and not worry about to many scripts running. I think some of the special weathers might not work with out the quests/scripts. Not sure, but the normal weathers all work. The Nuke weather from NAC and the Heavy Rad Thunderstorm from True Storms are scary in VR fyi :D
I am still suffering from the black screens. And I'm still wondering what exactly the author means by "ocular adaptation" in the NAC-X settings. I can't find an option called that. Maybe someone can please give me a tip, maybe it's a translation problem on my part. I use NAC-X with NAC-ENB.
I only have cloud shadows as an option, there are no dynamic clouds. Did you mean cloud shadow?
PS: I'm trying it right now, seems to work. No black screen for two ingame days. I owe you a debt of gratitude, it drove me crazy, sometimes for several minutes.
PS: days later - That's it! Strong. Finally :) A lot of thanks, aristidetorchia717
PLEASE make a walkthrough so we can do the same. I would LOVE to get rid of the GLowing Sea fire that has been there for months in game. Can't see anything out there and I typically enjoy questing in the GS.
sorry but i need to disable the adaption because when youre inside the institute, it flashbangs your eyes. disabling the adaption solves the problem. is there any error or bug i have to expect if i disable adaption? because you strictly said to leave it enabled.
I am placing a bounty. $50 for anyone who can help me get rid of the radiation screen darkening effect. I disable it in the NAC X settings and it persists. I modify the image space modifiers in Fo4Edit and it persists. I uninstall NAC X and it's still there. I'm at a complete loss, I just want to be able to see
maybe this can help, I just read this today. Or you already tried this?
Clear Imagespace Modifiers by ma1025 -A BAT file that will instantly clears all vanilla imagespace modifiers that may have gotten stuck - problems like lingering poison effects, permanent night vision, and other visual distortions.
Overall I love how it looks and I really enjoy some of the wather effects! But the bloom is out of hand, and when I go to the effects setting and click on bloom, it does nothing except close the window, unlike the others that let me raise or lower the effect. Is this an issue with the mod, or is it just crashing due to a bug? Either way, what is a way I can cut it down a bit? I look around DC the view is overwhelmed by huge blobs of yellow light (And with Percy, a big blob of red light with his jet)

I made the "NAC X Fog Godray Tweaks" patch, if there is anything in that esp you can use just go ahead :-)
