This one is perfect. Keeps the settlement to a manageable size while adding a lot of artfully laid out buildings. I've got one game going with all of your settlements and other ones I built that you haven't covered. Seeing how much work it is doing a few entire settlements really makes me appreciate your mods. They all import cleanly and start up without issues. I can leave for 72 hours and they are already functioning and thriving when I get back. I use Workshop Framework to auto-assign all my beds and jobs, so easy import and away we go.
I see people have asked about auto-doors. If you use Workshop Framework, which is essential to using Transfer correctly, you can set the doors. All you have to do is set the settlements to use auto-open and close and it does the rest. I only have an issue with the gates not always closing because of caravans and guards. Otherwise it keeps my settlers from leaving the place wide open for raiders and the like to run in.
I've downloaded a bunch of your settlements, just want to say thank you for the hard work you did here, the lore friendly settlements are just awesome. I will likely use all your builds, lol.
You, good sir, are not just an excellent modder, you are a freaking artist!! I've loaded five of your blueprints, including this one, into my game so far, and DAMN!!! Can't wait to open up the other settlements!!
Many thanks – glad you liked it! For the power issue have you unlocked the settlement and opened the build menu at least once? Another user had the same issue with a different blueprint and that fixed it for them.
Oh WoW! That's quite a build Fiddlefap! I only have base game but if I could, I would seriously use this. A lot of work no doubt! Nice job! Question: How did you build around the traders who are always there in the way? They are a royal pain in my ass whenever I rebuild Tenpines. One of the guards one day, "Make one wrong move wastelander an....." (That's about all he got out before I shot him). Had had my limit by then.
Glad you like the settlement, just a shame you are unable to try it out in your game Not a lot you can do with the caravan guards and their annoying brahmin. I typically just move and work on another part of the settlement till they are gone, or just keep sleeping / waiting for a couple of hours until they decide its time to move on.
ccjr57 you gave me a good chuckle. I feel that way about Dogmeat. Ahem. Now regarding only having base game, to each their own, but seriously, GOTY edition of FO4 is constantly going on sale, and cheap. Why people still in 2021 bemoan mods that require DLC baffles me. You have to have SOME money in order to have a gaming rig, yes? You can't spare 10-15 bucks on DLCs?
Now on to fiddleflap: I haven't used TS for a long while, but made a new play that will do so, and in shopping for blueprints I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to find yours. You build the way I envision I would, until I start up and it all looks like square blobs with no symmetry or aesthetic. /sigh
They're perfect and I hope you continue to make more, I want a complete Fiddleflap wasteland! Congratulations on your great work.
Many thanks for your kind words, great to hear are liking the builds! I am aiming to create one of these vanilla style settlements for each location and slowly working my way through them. There are a few locations I am really not looking forward to attempting, but over time hope to have a full set
I agree Rhaevyn, it kind of surprised me to read only base game.
I normally do mine own BPs but TB has always been a small thorn in my foot, I'm considering on downloading your BP fiddleflap but I'll have to make some minor changes to it if I do, I believe it's workshop plus? that offers the auto closing gates? Not sure but I'd change those out and I also use Skk's random encounter system which is always spawning in down the rock cliff on the RR tracks so I'd need some more defense in that corner. As far as the caravans and Brahim go I use Yagisan's Better Caravans, solves that problem.
Thanks for checking out the settlement! One of the benefits of using the blueprint system is of course being able to change around or tweak a design once its in your game to your tastes or needs Although I have used it in the past I am not that familiar with Workshop Plus and did not use it as part of this build. The gates in the settlement are the standard junk fence ones found in the base game.
Interesting mods will have to remember them for a possible future playthrough.
Looking forward to the day when all my settlements are fiddleflaps... Seriously, you are my favorite settlement builder. I try and only use yours but some are 'key' settlements and I have to cheat and use another modders settlement. One of these days though. (two thumbs up) P.S. I didn't even check out the images before downloading. Didn't need too.

Step 1: Go to the Nexus.
Step 2: Download and install every single Fiddleflap blueprint you see.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!
