Interesting Mod that went totally under my radar. I'd love to see something like a "combined" container for all connected workshops? If that's possible at all?
I guess it's going to be a permanent in my Mod list. I'm currently using the Robot series to suit my needs, since I like to keep it somewhat "immersive"(whatever that may be?). Another one on the list is Connected Containers, which provides what I'm asking for.
did i do something wrong? i build trasmitters and it properly shows supply lines, atm there is only Sanctuary, Red Rocket and Starlight, when i use remote access box at red rocket it shows Sanctuary and Starlight, but for some reason when i use box at Starlight it does not show Red Rocket, only Sanctuary and Starlight :/ ? https://imgur.com/a/EbXpPM0 Edit: seems like its the same for other settlements, i can access everything from Red Rocket, but cant access Red Rocket from other settlements :/
In my current playtrough one of my settlemetns suddendly vanished from the list of connected workbenches. Sunshine Tidings Cooperative
I changed nothing, all my other workshop are avaliable.
When i am at the "lost settlement" i can acsess all other settlements and even itself from the mods container menu.
I am also useing SS2, so maybe there is a compability problem?'
Edit: After some test, i am pretty sure thats its not SS2, but a corruption in my save. No idea what caused it. Is there any way to "refresh" the workshop in some way to maybe fix the issue?
Edit2: I have loaded and tested a bunch of old save (I alawys save on a new slot and save every file) and the problem must have started long before I created my first supply line and even unlocked the settlement with the problem. Probably started somewhere at the beginnig of the game.
Edit3: Using an unmodded save from nexus everything works fine. So its some sort of save corruption.
It is my settlement, unlocked it once, never lost it.
Like i said in the edits above, I tested loading a save before first unlocking the settlement, not working. Tested with a unmodded save from nexusmods, works fine.
I see. And Sunshine Tidings is still connected (supply-line)?
I guess there is a way to reset the workshops individually or all together, but I don't know. You could check with Kingarth. I believe he did rewrite the workshopparentscript for a WS mod required for SS2. He shall know if there is a way to reset the workshops.
Excellent! This will come in handy for the manufacturing machines from the Contraptions DLC. Since when those pull junk from the workshop, they don't use anything connected from supply lines. So at least with this I'll be able to get the resources I need from other settlements without having to physically go there.
Y'all like contraptions? Check out Factory Addon. Real game changer.
Having to drive semi trucks full of raw materials across the map from my steel mill at Finch Farm or my concrete factory at Thicket was definitely how I was justifying the mining machines though. Now I gotta convince myself that your mod lets me hire drivers lol.
Some, like me, cannot use esl flagged esp mods. Some, like me, have plenty of plugin slots still. I don't understand why, since esl mods start out as esps, only the one option is offered up. I have an old game. It's been "built" over the entire life of the game since its' release. I wouldn't choose to upgrade my game for a single mod on a bet; since that would mean I'd have to start all over again with everything from hair styles, textures, meshes, animations.. the whole nine yards. It is so much more that one plugin file, eh? All for the lack of one file...an esp. Hmmm. Great mod idea though.
I don't understand why your game (whatever version it is) would refuse a .esp. Anyhow, two options: 1. rename to .esl 2. use xedit and remove the esl flag to get an unflagged .esp. That should do it.
I tried the mod both ways. LOOT did recognize the esp; but it still didn't load into the game. So I tweaked it in xedit, removed the esl tag; but it still doesn't load into my game. Of the more than dozen esl mods I've tried, only one ever passed the edit test

I will see if the Sim Settlements Forums can help.
Have a nice day
