Onto this mod then...
This mod removes most of the quests and silly attachments and all of the collectibles from asXas' Ak5C mod. You must download the original first and install it before mine since mine overwrites the original, my mod does not work on its own.

It works fine for me, but let me know should you run into any issues with it.

Things that are removed:

  • Most quests
  • Most weapon skins
  • All AIKE Weapon Fashion Magazines for the skins
  • All Secret Documents for different weapon modifications
  • All stickers
  • Curly magazine
  • Long magazine
  • Radiated magazine
  • Electric magazine
  • Surströmming magazine
  • Constructable tapes around the weapon
  • Surströmming can suppressor
  • Rotten fish
  • Surströmming rounds
  • Laser colors such as pink, purple, orange and so on
  • All bayonets
  • Load screen implementation
  • Leveled list integration for the weapon and other items the mod adds
  • The other special editions of the weapon, ie. Blue Bird and The Special Snowflake

Things that are kept:

  • The quest to actually get the weapon
  • Pretty much every weapon modification not mentioned above (I might have forgotten something)
  • The pop-up dialogue windows that show when you leave Vault 111 the first time

Other than that, I also corrected some text in quests and weapon mod descriptions.

Let me know if you have any special requests for some edit or want me to return something that I have deleted and I might make a optional download.

If you don't want to do the quest or if you want to get the weapon now, follow this quote from the original mod author:

Open the console and type in the following: 
player.additem XX000F99
(XX = the mod's # in your load order, if you're not sure what the # is you can always type "help "ak5" 4 weap" in the console and look for "WEAP: Ak5C"  get the weapons full ID.)


There are still some "issues" I want to deal with that doesn't really impact the mod, it just bugs me to see it. An example would be that the bayonet selection when modifying the weapon must be there in order to put a suppressor on the muzzle. I haven't figured out how to fix it yet, but I'm working on it.
