Hi. I lost the source years ago when my PC short-circuited. I need to build up from an earlier version, thus redo a whole lot. I decompiled the latest version of the script, but that resulted in something useless. When time allows, I'll start on it. Found a copy on Google Drive I will update soon.
I'm not sure what's going on. I've assigned the hotkeys I want but every time I try to use a hotkey it says "you don't have anything assigned to slot X." I've reorganized it in the load order in Mod Organizer 2, though the plugin refuses to move above a certain point. Anyone else have this problem and know of a solution?
Yes but I haven't assigned anything to it yet. By your question I'm assuming it's conflicting, so I'll give that a check real quick.
Update: I checked it out and got the commands assigned to it but it didn't seem to work properly. It would equip the gas mask but wouldn't unequip it, replacing the filter didn't work, and I couldn't find a way to add the HUD widget (but that's probably due to my UI mods so I'm not super concerned about that). As for wiping and repairing the mask, those are working fine.
You can use both mods, but remove the line(s) in the FO4 Hotkeys config file pointing to the key you want to use for anything else. Hotkeys here only work with masks added to the script (see description). Sometimes you also need re-equip a mask, because script didn't catch up (GMOW issue). HUD widget is not part of this mod. That is base GMOW.
Okay, I got it more or less working. Still can't replace the filter but I'm assuming it's because it can only be replaced after a certain amount has been used. There wasn't a storm at the time so I doubt any of it was used in any significant amount for the few minutes I was testing the buttons. Thanks for the help.
Question out of place but by any chance do you know how to write the line in Fo4 Hotkey (Lite) to use the "T" key I tried typing "KeyT" and just "T" but it didn't work.
Hey man, is there a simple way to add the animation from one mask to another? I just want to add one existing equip animation to another already supported mask, no problem if it's a different model.
I haven't looked into that. D1v1ne122 always mentioned it was hard to do, but I think he meant in an universal kind of way. Because like you said, there would be a model mismatch with available assets. I can look at it. Will report back.
Thanks man. I searched for a keyword, or any reference on Armor, Armor addon, Animated Object and Idle animation on fo4edit and haven't found any. I believe there must be a keyword or something right?

I've decompiled the PEX script, im trying to change the CROSS chosen of atom to use the ESP version, but im unsure how you pull the forms for the getfromfile, they all seem to be fully numerical in the script, but in f4edit i cant find anything that is a full numeric formid. I've swapped the "variable GasMasksCrossCAName String" near the top of the script to .esp.
I've never worked with papyrus, and im not super experienced with modding, just wondering if you can provide any insight so i can fix this myself without swapping to the ESL version and messing with my modlist.

Add last 6 hex digits of FormID to 0x01. Because first two are based on the load order of the plugin.
For instance: 0802f7da > 0x0102f7da
