Dark face bug? Here are some things you can try that may fix it!
Double-check that all required and optional files are installed properly
Create a "test" profile in Vortex and only load the following mods: My overhaul & The required files. The test profile is so that this process doesn't mess up your load order. If the issue is resolved, The darkface bug is probably being caused by a conflicting mod. If it is not, See 3.
Ensure that the high-res texture DLC is disabled and that you are using the correct version of Valkyr face textures I use the "Valkyr Face Texture Fair Skin" version. Not the one for HD Textures DLC.
"Can you create a pack with such-and-such specific NPC's?" I could, but so can you! As my disclaimer states, I'm not going to be creating customized packs. However, I have uploaded the separate file for every NPC in my overhaul, and merging ESP's is pretty easy! Here is a video tutorial with the exact same ESP merger I use to create this overhaul.
"Can you do an overhaul of this NPC?" Suggestions are welcome! Be advised that there are some NPC's that seem to just not work, though. I have tried Desdemona and a few others, and they just reset or glitch out. I'm working on them slowly, and hopefully will figure out a way to overhaul them one day.

thank you! ngl, I kinda slapped this together with faceripper and then used this tutorial to merge it all together, so I don't know if deleting the merge folder will give you any issues. Try it out on a clean save and see if anyone looks weird. When I'm testing for bugs I usually just start a clean save on a separate profile in Vortex and sprint straight to Abernathy farm to see if Connie or Lucy look weird. Good luck!
As stated in the disclaimer, I don't plan to make separated packs (until I reach a file size limit.) However, Merging ESP's is a very easy process and this is a great tutorial if you would like to use the separate files to do it yourself.
I will not be making a fix, as the darkface bug can occur with any form of conflict with other mods and many, many other reasons. Also because as stated in the description, this is my first mod and I wouldn't even be sure of how to do that. Here is a few things you could try....
Try running your game while using my overhaul and the required files listed in my description with no other mods. If the issue is resolved, The darkface bug is being caused by a conflicting mod of some kind. If the issue is not resolved, see #2

The only resource that alters facial textures that this mod uses is Valkyr face textures, Everything else except for the eyes and the hairs are resources from vanilla fallout 4. This is intentional to limit the occurrence of the dark face bug as much as possible. I also heavily suggest using LOOT to organize your load order and check for conflicts. Best of luck!
Thanks! I'll get to Curie at some point, currently I'm working on the NPC's that bother me the most in Diamond City, Covenant and then The Railroad. In the mean time, This overhaul by theDavethegamer is probably my favorite Curie overhaul.

is it possible to get separate versions of these NPCs? i like some interpretations and already have existing overrides for other. absolutely loving your take on farenheit and macy!
I have uploaded the individual files for each character, but be advised that each override will take an .esp slot unless you merge the ESP's yourself. Until I reach a size limit on the file I plan to keep the merge as one huge pack. Something else that may work is placing my merged character override lower in your load order than the ones that you would prefer to see. Works in Skyrim SE, not sure if it would work in Fo4..
