Lmfao Does this mess up the physics for anyone else? If enemies are moving fast enough they will sometimes fly into one direction during vats. Killed the first deathclaw because it flew 100ft into the air. edit* Oh guess it says that right on the file. Finding that 5% gets ride of the issue.
lol YES XD I can also make dead bodies pop up off the floor by going into VATS. The only time this was a problem was just yesterday when a dead mirelurk popped up and absorbed the shot I had set up on a raider.
A must have mod. The whole point of VATS was to help simulate turn based style tactics from the original games, plus it was just fun to see the kill shots. It really should have been an option in Fallout 4, but I'm glad this is here.
Your demonstration video is private. I think that's reason enough to not use this mod. What "good" reason could you possibly have for making that video private? Ah yes, let me just NOT have any idea how this mod looks/works.
Besides, do you really need a demonstration of the mod...? ... it makes VATS stop time, like in FO3/NV, or makes it even some % slower or faster compared to real time if you got one of those. Legitimately one of the simplest mods, on par with muting the PC.
As rude as faraam is being, I have to agree with him. There is no actual reason it should be made private beyond maybe them forgetting that it existed. It has been like 8 years after all, so that's probably what happened. Demonstration videos are necessary for mechanical mods and should be mandatory.
After 8 years, youtube could have smacked it with whatever bullshit they can come up with, so instead of dealing with copyright issues, they private it. THAT is a logical reason. And after 8 years, someone can easily stop caring about modding a game.
This mod just completely stopped working. It seemed to be working the other day now I can't get it to work at all, in fact no vats mods have any effect
I've used this until early this year. Had to reinstall everything in the last few days. No longer works. Have tried assorted plugins. Nada.
I presume the main fallout exe is the culprit.
Damn, there's really nothing else to replace this, and for older disabled players, shooting becomes nigh impossible without it.
NOTE:
I think "Game Configuration Menu" was overriding it as it seems to have a setting that you can use for this purpose. Still experimenting but i am pretty sure it is the case. Phew!
Another Classic VATS option is Fallout 4 RPG, which also makes a few perk changes. I've been using it since 2016, and it still works.
I think all "Classic VATS" mods have the same issue: the engine doesn't want to freeze cleanly, so sometimes enemies keep moving for a few seconds as VATS starts and sometimes there's a physics glitch coming out of VATS.
