    I can't figure out how to do this. I'm following what you said in the description, I typed TEXTURES\ next to sResourceDataDirsFinal, so now it looks like sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\TEXTURES\ but I don't understand the copying part, the folder it downloads when downloading the mod has all of that. The eyes are still low res. Do I have to type something else after TEXTURES\? Do I have to move the downloaded folder into another folder? Can you just type a full rundown for me on how to do it please?

      sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\
      There needs to be a space and comma present between each new entry.

    Sorry everyone that I have not replied to any post in the last year, (two years??) I haven't played fallout 4 for a long time and I didn't post an update since. When I uploaded this mod it worked fine, haven't checked with the latest releases. I can not explain any reports about "black eyes" as it should work fine on a clean install.

      I tried to do this too, I wanted to make the eye emissive and I couldn't even change the center color.

    Hey. I'm having a little trouble with this mod. I installed the "NMM shadow effect for installing with NMM" version with NMM and I believe that the eye texture under the glass has been replaced, but the glass itself does not look smooth like your screenshot. It looks all warped almost like it's jelly or slime. Do you have any idea why that would be? Does this mod replace the glass? Thank you.

      I'm having the same issue with the non-shadow version. The shadowed version just makes the eye pitch black. I love the texture but half the outer lens looks like it has slime on it and is very distracting.

      Same it made the glass black for some reason. OP must have a mod that fixes this and isn't telling anyone about it. Ah well what a shame :/.

      wow sorry guys I didn't think this mod would be downloaded so often XD I didn't check for new posts. I do not use any other "updated" files for this mod than I already uploaded. the glass should not be changed by this texture (why would a clear glass material be changed by an iris texture?) it might have something to do with the lighting calculations I am not aware of

    These eyes are such a vast improvement to the default ones. Thank you so much for making and sharing these!

    I started a new game for alpha testing an other mod and found that the pre war codsworth has still the old ugly eye textures.
    Can you make the new eyes for him too?

      Indeed, there are 2 versions, one called HandyTorso_d and the other one HandyTorsoClean_d, the best would be to have the rusty version to replace HandyTorso_d and a clean one for the pre war, for now the best we can do is to duplicate HandyTorso_d and HandyTorso_n and rename them HandyTorsoClean_d and HandyTorsoClean_n it should work i think.

      A little suggestion, it would be nice too a version 1k and 2k for low config.
