Thanks for providing this fix. Just so I understand your meaning in the Description. Instead of just placing this mod with a higher priority and letting the meshes override, leading to weird seams (better than broken fingers I suppose), we could:
Unpack bsa's from whatever overhauls we're using > replace relevant hands.nif's > repack bsa's > and then rebuild outfits in BodySlide.
This is going to sound Funny but it works for me.... There is still a bit of a seam its definitely not as good as no glove but its really close. All you have to do .... and dont laugh this is real. Just go into xedit and find the armor causing the issue and find the cell where the gloves .niff sits and type in 1stPerson after it. It will now use the first person model which works moe betta and doesn't have that jagged edge gap. Still testing it but it definitely works not sure what side effects it might have tho.
The gloves look fine in 1st person for me using this, but I did have one issue with the Athletic Outfit while holding a Hunting Rifle (the thumb on the left hand disappeared), but everything else seems fine. Basically the meshes should appear as vanilla in first person, so barring some minor inconsistencies due to outfit replacers (and the one thing I mentioned before), the hands should appear normal in 1st person.
