This looks good, thanks. And imho your shinier v1.1 looks great when combined with a mod called More Defined Vanilla Vault Suit. Endorsed.

I used that but after trying it out, I uninstalled temporarily. I didn't like the dirty suits, so I made a copy of each of the cleans, copied the name of the dirties, and deleted them so I could rename the clean copies with the dirty names. Then I dragged the mod into Vortex after zipping it back up again and giving it my own name so I wouldn't forget. I kept trying to edit the mod while it was installed, and it kept reverting back to dirty, so reinstalling it with manually changed files was the sure way to make it stick.

Everybody got clean suits, always. It just bugged me that everyone in 81 was filthy even though they were sealed up in a clean vault. If only I could fix the dirty faces, lol.

Personally, I find the more defined vanilla vault suit's "dirty" version to be just slightly grubby and thus accurate for the vault which is old and having maintenance issues, thus represents the daily work-wear of people struggling to keep it going (this isn't the pristine Institute). And note, when adding the shinier v1.1 look, those slightly grubby suits look even less grubby. Plus I just loose-filed both mods as-is and don't use a mod-manager, so for me it was all a very simple process. But hey, to each their own and I'm glad you got it how you wanted! Cheers.

You may like the 1.0 version if the main file is too shiny for you (or it could be the placebo effect! lol)

That sounds like another mod. I've got it on in vault 81 right now and the Overseer's suit says 81 and is hella shiny. The number is supposed to be a decal the game applies. Maybe you got a mod where someone mistakenly baked the 111 in on the design (made their own).

It's mentioned in past games by several NPCs that the vault suits are "fashionable leather jumpsuits" and not made of some fabric. They really should've been shiny like this in the first place considering what they're made out of. Fashionable leather usually has some gloss to it.

Not really. Check the skeletons in FO1-2-Tac and such, you will see that they are made of fabric.
