The AMR is crap in the game compared to the other weapons available in the game, it was supposed to be like the NV one (something capable of putting any enemy to sleep with very few shots)
Thanks for this, because the AMR is way too underpowered 'vanilla'. I'm glad that I was able to pick it up for free, like all of my CC-downloads are. Still, I would ask for a middle-of-the-road version of this mod, because between 'vanilla' and your edit I feel that the sweet-spot would be somewhere in the middle.
You actually don't need this mod (or any similar mod) at all. Just open FO4Edit: -> select only the .esp of the mod you want to change (in this case anti-material rifle) and let it load -> then on the left expand that mode's section and "weapon" section -> click on the weapon you want to change -> and finally on the right you can change whatever you want for that weapon (dmg, range, etc.)
This way you can change whatever weapon from whatever mod you want, and you don't need additional mods. Of course reversing these changes requires more work then simply uninstalling mod, but if you know these changes are permanent or you can't find mod that has the exact changes you want (like in your case), using FO4Edit is the most simple way. I've tweaked damage for pretty much every weapon from all of my mods this way for balance :-)
Yeah, and if I wanted to dick about with editors I'd go back to DOS 6.22 games. No thanks, I'm quite happy going click-click-click and getting right back to playing.
+1 thanks to Deathwalker95 for offering people choice and convenience.

This info is very helpful. Thank you so much.
Thanks but no thanks. You do realise Nexus is a site for mods, right?
