//Edit 2022-08-05 - this is now fixed in the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch 2.1.4

Initially had a main file and optional file where the latter would forward any changes from Creation Club content over. However, this optional file proved ineffective and interior music would still play despite the MusicType entry (among other things, like keywords) being completely gone. I can only assume there's some other method that's linking the music to the location but I'm yet to find it.

In the meantime, have removed the option file which forwarded the Creation Club changes over, the main file should do the trick anyway. As far as I can tell, there's no adverse effects from this - I'm sure the changes CC make to these records serve some purpose but it doesn't seem required for the content to function in any way.

Huh, I always thought this was intentional to let you know the place you were close to had potential danger. That's how I always saw it, anyway.

Part of me thought that at one point but I swear this wasn't a problem when Fallout 4 released. I haven't found the time/motivation to pirate the original Fallout 4 release to check though.

I never noticed that. I always use radio because I hate so much the game's own soundtracks.

I'd recommend any mod that replaces the music with FO1/FO2 soundtracks. "Metallic Monks" is particularly fitting when exploring the Boston city area.

Thank you! I too am tired of hearing good music butchered by careless programming.
