Does this "test" splitter do the same thing as a splitter does for the laser and plasma weapons - reduce range, fire a shotgun-style spread of projectiles with each shot...?
Also, since when was the "Zeta" an attachment? It was just a unique-named gun was my impression...
Yes, the splitter does the same as the splitter mods for the other energy weapons. The Zeta barrel (and Lorenzo's) could already be taken off and installed on another gamma gun, this mod doesn't change that it just makes them craftable.
Oh, small bug: the "mod" inventory item doesn't seem to be hooked up right with the weapon, so it forced me to craft a new one even if I have the mod in my inventory.
Okay, that's hilarious! Bethesda uses the signal splitter misc mod item for the Electric signal carrier antennae mod! That's what is causing the problem, it's preventing it from being used for anything but the electric mod. I'm going to have to fix that.
Anyways, nice mod, and if you figure out a way to add some spread to the projectiles, that would be great (as currently it pretty much just fires 3 projectiles exactly on top of each other lol).
It actually fires 6 and does increase the spread, it's just that the gamma projectiles are so large they blend together. It's a little more noticeable with the Zeta barrel.
I don't want to increase the spread any more than it was already because I don't want to make it useless at any range beyond melee. Which is pretty much what it would take to make the projectiles separate noticeably.

If so is it in Cut Weapon Mods restored?

I never realized "Zeta" had a unique dish, but i'm not sure why you'd ever WANT to use it - it seems to be worse than even the standard dish... >_<

EDIT: Yeah it works now, so I guess that was it! n.nU
