These would look great in Starfield.

I agree.  Feel free to remind me of this when more modding tools come out: I don't have any programming skills, so it's not something 'll be able to do on my own.
Alternatively, I give open permission for anyone more talented than myself to port these over, just include a link to this mod and the Perraine collection I took it from.

Mal's outfit with no coat removes the Pip-Boy.  Can anything be done about this? because it looks great on my character lol

A thousand apologies for missing your comment, I usually check for recent comments more often but, well... Starfield.
Also ten more apologies about Jane's Hat.  You can play with it by importing it in Outfit studio (there's no bodyslide project, so you'll have to grab it manually).  I did what I could, but never got it quite right.  One idea that came to me later was to load in another hat (one that you've tested to work, like the vanilla beanie: it's green, but I don't know the actual name for it) and use it as a comparison to try and get the hat in the right place.
As for the missing PIP-boy, that's a "my bad".  I always use PIP-pad to replace the standard PIP-boy, so some of my mods have this issue but I simply never noticed.  If I recall correctly, there's an easy fix in the creation kit: it's in the equip slots.  The outfit does not use the "60 - Pipboy" slot, but both the 'armoraddon's do.  Thus, any change of the mesh will cover up the pipboy.  You need to make them match: either all of them use that slot, or none of them (gorramitall, I forgot which is better: one of these options breaks something).
If you want a quick fix, go in and fix the problem with a few clicks.  If you're not sure how to do that (or simply don't use the creation kit) let me know and I'll work on a patch.
Once again, I'm sorry for the late response.  Feel free to DM me  with any followup, and thank you for showing intrest in my and Perraine's work (always nice to meet someone with good taste in Sci-fi)

Haha, I'm fairly new to Firefly, somehow it eluded me over the years but I'm hooked and been watching it for like the 4th time.  As for the Creation Kit, I will give it a shot per your instructions.  Don't know if I'll be able to figure it out but it should be a good learning experience.

Eh, I tried to make the changes in Creation Kit like you said, but I didn't really figure it out.  Enjoy Starfield, friend.  My current rig isn't powerful enough for it.  Take your time, if you make the patch anytime soon, cool, if not, no big deal.

Great gorram mod.  I have the same issue with Jayne's hat not fitting right.  Can't figure out how to edit it in Outfit Studio.

Just wondering, I assume these are for CBBE because the original mod was? Is that correct?

No.  The "origional" was a modder's recourse.    Perraine seemed to have CBBE in mind, but I made the bodyslide files myself.  The reason I released this in CBBE is because that's what I use and it's what's easiest for me to use.
Now, there seems to be an implied "Can you convert this to X body?" in there.  If so, the answer is complicated.  I have no personal interest in doing so, but I DO take requests.  If you want me to work on it, I'll need your cooperation (for testing mostly) and for you to commit to staying in touch.  Also, be aware that I don't work for free: you well be expected to pay me in the form of screenshots.

No, sorry, I really was just asking because I didn't see anywhere in the description that mentioned a particular body type, but when I looked at Perraine's Outfit Pack it indicated it was for CBBE, so I assumed the original meshes had been built that way and thus that was the body type you'd designed these to fit as well. Sorry if I came off as rude, I didn't mean to. I just wanted to check whether or not this file would be an easy download-and-install mod for me, or if I'd need to do some mesh reshaping if I wanted to use it (I use the vanilla body). Again, I apologize.

No, no, you weren't rude at all: no need to apologize.  If anything I was.  It's just that when comments come out of nowhere, months after the mod's release, it usually involves a request.
Converting to villain would actually be pretty doable.  if you know how to do it yourself, that's be fine, but I could lend a hand.  In fact, I used to use vanilla a lot (I preferred the vanilla underwear to most of what has been made by the community) and there's a way to let you use CBBE outfits like this without having to convert them.  If you create a renamed copy of the CBBE skin textures/meshes (ie. "CBBE female body" instead of "female body") and point the meshes toward the new stuff.  If you're interested, I could set up a lot of this stuff and post it as an optional file, but it might take me a couple days to get to it and again, I would expect you to upload some screenshots (I love me some good screenshots!)
EDIT: in answer to the original question, yes, the mod IS intended for use with CBBE.  if you use a vanilla body you will have skin texture mis-matches.

No worries, I completely understand why you'd assume a comment like that was passive aggressive whining because they usually are lol. I've honestly just been finding it really confusing how Fallout armor/clothing mods so rarely state explicitly what body they're for. (I'm coming to Fallout modding for the first time having just bought the game this week, so I'm used to the clarity of Skyrim mod pages and it's been a weird adjustment trying to get used to the comparative ambiguity of Fallout modding.) And I thank you for the helpful offer! I'll probably just hold-off on downloading until I have time to do a full mesh-reshape by hand because I've never liked the look of CBBE's proportions (although from the screenshots, these outfits don't look too bad) but I really appreciate your willingness to do such work on my behalf. Thank you!

To be clear, I didn't think you were being passive aggressive.  I just thought it was a subtle request.  My inability to tell the difference between subtle requests/nudges and simply, unassuming comments may be part of why I currently don't have a girlfriend (lol, though the lock-downs, stay-at-home orders that gave way to my job re-opening then immediately becoming SUPER busy is probably a bigger factor.
If you're familiar with bodyslide/outfit studio, the conversion shouldn't be difficult... though it will take a bit of time, so fair enough if you want to wait.
Also, you make a good point about Fallout 4 mods not always stating which body type they are for.  A lot of mod authors do, but i'm a bit of noob with this sort of thing.  Its a good idea though: letting people know what they're getting into before committing to a download (which can be quite big: one of my other fallout 4 mods is more than 250MB).  I'll see about going back and putting that little tidbit into my mod descriptions: it outta fit nicely into the short description.

Ha, no problem! It can be hard to tell what anyone's tone is on anything on the internet. Especially a modding website that has its fair share of whiny entitled brats ;)

Anyway I've not done it for Fallout yet, but I actually hand-convert outfits between body shapes a lot for Skyrim (both making CBBE/UNP/etc usable by my vanilla characters and making gender-neutral patches for clothes because unlike Fallout, in Skyrim you often get outfits that look completely different depending on whether it's being worn on a dude-body or a lady-body which is just stupid imo) and that's tedious sometimes but not difficult. I'm assuming it'll be pretty similar for Fallout. I'm just in the middle of working on a huge expansion mod of the Thieves Guild quest and characters with a group of other folks right now, so most (all) of my modding-time is going to that endeavor right now. But at some point I'll have other free time to fiddle with stuff like this on my own again, and I'll definitely come back and get these outfits from you then. Gotta have some browncoats in my wasteland!

I was going to suggest using a conversion reference in outfit studio (just take the CBBE -> vanilla reference and go to -100%).  If you have a better way of doing it: go for it.  Also, If you get around to it before me (and you probably will: I'm busy all month with NaNoWriMo) feel free to upload it to the nexus with my permission.  Or you could drop-box me the files and I'll add it to this page as an optional file.

I actually have NO idea how to make BodySlide work. I use Outfit Studio instead and reshape the meshes by hand. I wouldn't say it's a better technique by any means...it's just the only way I know how to do it. Because I like to make life difficult for myself XD

      Good luck with NaNoWrimo!

The most cunning piece of headwear ever created is indeed included. I couldn't really have bashed together meshes without it could I? :)

Actually Jane's Hat IS included in this mod.  I was having some problems with it not fitting right, so you might have to fiddle with it, but it's there.

Great it was just not shown in the pics so I thought you may have missed it. That was one of my favorite episodes. Next thing to do get a settlements and call it Janes Town with lots of mud.

Wow, this is amazing work Reixkrazara :) THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

I'll take a look at the 2 Anara dresses and also River's Battle Dress and see if I can't figure out what the issue is. Maybe I can come up with a fix for you.

      no problem man.
As for the Inara dresses, the skirts weren't animated -slash- were super wonky.  Usually I would take a dress that works and copy over the bone weights in outfit studio, but there aren't any dresses in the vanilla game that go all the way to the floor.  However, vtaw released a Lady Dimitrescu outfit, so I was thinking about using that as a reference.  Also the transparency was pretty wack for the orange one, but you already knew that.
It's a minor thing though: don't sweat it.  I'm mostly just happy with how the coats turned out (and river's pink dress).  I'll probably be using some of this stuff in future matshups.
