So I've never used a "blueprint plan" before, I have no idea how to do so - never bothered to look into it before cause for the most part they did way more than I wanted, but this one looks really fantastic yet minimal. So if someone could point me in the direction of a tutorial or something I'd be appreciative <3
Hello, I fixed the description. I added a link to Transfer Settlements under requirements. There's a lot of videos/tutorials on how to use it.
Step 1 - Install the Transfer Settlements mod - that one has two requirements to install. F4SE is an offsite script to set up - that's the only real hard part. If you are already using it for other mods, then you should be set. F4SE is used by a bunch of mods because it basically adds a whole bunch of extra programming scripts that enhances beyond what Bethesda provided.
Step 2 - Make sure you have Snappy Housekit mod installed. Since I used that mod to place the walls, Transfer Settlements will look for that mod to replicate the walls.
Step 3 - In the game, travel to the Castle. You may want to scrap garbage and such first. Then open your inventory, you will find a holotape for Transfer Settlements. Select it to run it in your pip-boy, choose Import Settlement, and then my blueprint should show up in slots 40 and 41 (40 is the main one I recommend). Select one of them and BAM it starts to work. The animation is cool, you will see stuff getting teleported in. Once it's done, anything you don't like you can scrap or move.
Could you be so kind to explain how to properly install this mod. I have downloaded both mods needed, but nothing is happening. I probably missed to do something...
You mention "slots". I have no idea what you are talking about...
Ah yea I can see how that is confusing. I mention Transfer Settlements in the title but realize I didn't inn the description.
There is a mod called Transfer Settlements that you would have to set up first. It creates a holotape you can use in your pip-boy that lets you import a settlement (or export). You would go to the castle, run the tape, and then choose import. You would then see my blueprints in slots 40 and 41.
I updated the description to no one else gets confused. I added a link to Transfer Settlements under the requirements.
The good news is it's too much hassle to install Transfer Settlements, you can remove my mod - it doesn't do anything to your game files. Actually it won't do anything even if you leave the mod in place - it's basically a config file for that other mod and doesn't do anything on it's own.
Run the build then exit the location for about 24-72 hours away from the cell , then go back and scrap what you don’t like. The waiting is just to prevent any issues after running transfer settlements tool.
also I like the idea of using the train cars or trailer ? To make a entrance looks nice I will probably be stealing that next time I play Fo4.
Thanks, part of the fun of uploading these is giving people idea. I look at other blueprints too - even if I don't use them sometimes they have great ideas i steal :)
