    i tried making paired killmoves more... got as far as getting everything into 3ds max properly but just dont have the know how to animate it further never mind the expressions needed to tell the game victim has died, attacker stop animation etc xs just not alot of tutorials out there. really surprised nobody ever messed with killmoves but what can ye do

      I've tried cause I hate the "2 slap pistol animation" when melee-ing with a 10mm or Deliverer but my files whouldn't convert. I wanted to make that garbage pistol melee killmove to a John wick/Watch Dogs style shot to the Stomach then to the Head up close. I've tried for 2 months and had a mod author help me a bit but I couldn't. I still really want to do animation but I've already used the free trials for 3DS Max 2014 and 2015.

      theres a youtube video on fo4 animation, he converts the kellog animation.. theres a pinned comment to 3ds max 15 for free safe and easy. also yea thats why ive been reluctant to commit to it because it requires alot of know how, you could watch a tut and if leaves out anything smalll trying to find the answer can be absolute aids and thats usually the case only with many things skipped for speed or left out

    Could you summarize how to edit mod animations to work for other weapons? I really want to figure out how to do this

    Hopefully we can get some more animators coming to Fallout 4. There's so few these days, and we cant make all the mods.
