Do you remember, back in the days, when those poor homeless people arrived in your settlement? You had to turn those settlers away, because they looked like shit and were dressed even worse. But then, oh joy, Thom293 came along and made them BETTER. And now, with the Better Settlers CCAP Extension you can make your Settlers even betterer. A little bit at least.

This mod adds more diversity to the Better Settlers' attire, by adding up to 59 clothes from various clothing mods to the leveled list of Better Settlers' "Community Clothing and Armor Pack (CCAP)". The original CCAP leveled list (Eli's Armour Compendium) is kept and not replaced, and will continue to work. 


Requirements

  • Better Settlers with installation option "Modded Community Assets: Community Hair and Clothing".
  • The clothing mods listed in section "Requirements". See also below in paragraph "Modules and required Clothing Mods".



Modules and required Clothing Mods

The mod comes in three modules that can be selected via FOMOD installer.

Load Order

  • The required clothing mods must be placed anywhere above BetterSettlersCCAPack2.0.esp.
  • BetterSettlersCCAPack2.0Extension.esp must be placed below BetterSettlersCCAPack2.0.esp.



Spawn rates of the additional clothes depending on Better Settlers' installation options

Option "Gear Choices":
  • Better Settlers Default --> Good: Normal spawn rate
  • Light Armor only --> Very Good: Higher spawn rate.
  • Heavy Armor only --> Not recommended: Very low spawn rate or possibly no spawns at all, which makes using this mod pointless.

Option "Mortal Options":
  • Mortal Soldiers: Spawns more heavier armors at higher levels. --> Reduces the spawn rate slightly.



Possible conflicts with other mods

  • Any mod which modifies the clothing/armor leveled lists of settlers will probably cause conflicts.



Miscellaneous

  • Many of the clothing mods are intended for female settlers only. If they spawn on male settlers, two things can happen: a) They work properly on male settlers, but look ridiculous or b) a fallback mesh build into the mod is used. In other words: This issue should never cause naked or invisible settlers.
  • At a very low rate of approx. 1% a settler can spawn naked, independent of the gender. I haven't found the cause yet.
  • The mod also reduces the spawn rate of 9 Nuka World Vanilla clothes (mostly the Nuka World Jeans, Jacket and T-Shirt clothes). I added this intentionally to the mod, because their spawn rate was too high.
  • You can test the mod via console command "spawn 00020593 n", where n is the numbers of settler to spawn. For example "spawn 00020593 10" spawns 10 settlers.
