Weirdly, this doesn't seem to be building for me. It doesn't seem to be putting down all the ASAM's so I can't even force construction or refresh the plot. I've tried refreshing the settlement and that didn't seem to do anything either.
Hi, did you make sure to have the required downloads for it to work properly? Check the requirements tab on the description and make sure you have the add on pack listed there.
I'll check it and see if I can replicate the issue. Try checking the forums to see if anyone has had this issue https://www.simsettlements.com/site/index.php
Also, make sure you have the newest versions of the mods or any requirements that those mods may have If you are using vortex just run the check updates to find out.
Double checked and all the required mods are up -to-date.
Thanks for getting back to me on this. I'll have a look at the forums and see what I can find. I never thought that it might be an issue with SS2, just assumed it was something not triggering with this mod.
I'm testing it now to see if I have any issues. I'll get back to you.
One thing to try, goto the workbench and hit space, increase the build limit of the settlement by 100, to see if it's a limit size that's causing the issue.
Build limit - That's a good thought. Unfortunately, for Murkwater, I haven't even hit half the limit. I have also scrapped the settlement and started over with the same results.
I built the settlement and it looks as though everything is spawning correctly. Which plots aren't working for you? And the ones you said had no asam sensor, are they indoor or outdoor plots?
Try this to see if it helps, goto your pipboy and goto your city manager holotape (inv/misc) goto tools, then cheats, Unlock All Building Plans & Stages then Unlock All Plot Types. See if that works.
So I tried the cheats, and then refreshed the settlement - same outcome.
It's weird - It puts down one of each ASAM - 1 residential, 1 farm plot, 1 junk collection, 1 power station, 1 defense - it lays down the transforming, builds up the greenhouse, part of the settlement defense wall and the player home and that's it. That's where it stops. In other settlements I've built (some using city plan mods, some using the basic ones that came with SS2) even if it doesn't build all the buildings right away (that's the setting I have it at), it does lay down all the plots. Here, only the ones mentioned above are put down and built.
The only other thing I can try is reinstall the mod, but I have the most up-to-date version that i downloaded in September, so I honestly don't know if that will make any difference.
Oh, for the starting stage that is the correct building pattern, you get additional plots added as the settlement levels up along with wall and settlement upgrades and additions, that is stage 0. Stage 0 supports upto 4 settlers plus enough work for that number 1 residential (upto 4 beds), Then 4 work plots - 1 farm plot, 1 junk collection, 1 power station, 1 defense The extra plots and settlement upgrades are added through stages 1 to 3. At 3 is when the complete set of plots are all done with the settlements completion. So what you have being laid out at the start is correct, it's the same for mine that I loaded to test. If it were to lay all the plots out you'd end up with floating platforms and other oddities since the structure and building portions would be missing since they hadn't been built yet.
Some people just do a single stage build for the settlements that lays everything out from the start, but being a contest entry ours are made up of 4 stages, 0 through 3. Developing with each stage. Let the settlement develop and it should upgrade normally with enough settlers and materials, adding the plots and settlement additions by the stages.
That makes sense. I just realized that since they're not currently part of the supply line either I don't think they're getting the supplies they need to actually build anything since it's been at that level for quite a bit of in game time. I'll keep an eye on it, for sure. And thanks again for all the help and explanation.
If you keep adding supplies to the workbench they should just take what's needed to upgrade the stage. I don't have mine set to use a leader, I just dump stuff into the workbench and they eventually just upgrade. The next stage you will get the caravan plot addition. If you are upto 5 settlers and it hasn't upgraded make sure you have lots of materials in the workbench and they should upgrade, depending on your settings.
I eventually will have a larger list of Vils, but it will take some time. I want to try to keep each unique, but have them all kind of fit together. I hope to get at least one done per month depending on how much time I have. But for sure I will have more to come. Thanks again.
