I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the changes to the weapon's name (or armor's) when you add different mods? Like "Long" "High-Speed" "Bayoneted" and such? As in, you ant every 10mm pistol to be "10mm Pistol"? Because my mod currently doesn't touch that. I haven't seen where that's set in the files yet. It should be possible, but I see some potential weirdness when it comes to weapons that change from "pistol" to "rifle". I'll look into it for another mod.
The easy way to prevent that is if you give the weapon a custom name during crafting, it will stay that no matter the changes to the weapon.
