Would that not just take control away from you in the middle of a fire fight? What inspired me to make this was someone lamenting that VATS is the only way to crit, so I wouldn't want to go against that.
Hm, I probably knew that, and what I meant was that if the killcam triggers on every crit, then the player will suddenly have control torn away from them, which is the opposite of what I wanted for this.
I might be the only one because I genuinely never see anyone else do this, but I have that disabled in New Vegas anyway. I just use the first-person slowmo instead.
I think so, since I haven't set up any conditions or anything to prevent them. As far as the game is concerned, these crits and VATS crits are the same and both should be boosted accordingly.
Seems stable so far but what do you think about balance? It seems weapons with fast fire rate are getting much more quicker kills and it feels like I'm cheating. Just wanted your technical opinion about it. Thank you for sharing.
Hmmm... That is something to ponder, but I feel like automatic weapons were always the godroll roflstomper optimum strat in this game, so I'm not too concerned about balance, but it might be an idea to make an optional/alternative .esp that halves(?) the crit chance for Commando and Heavy Gunner. How's that?
That'd be great actually. Although I'm not sure about the percentage, I guess I'll leave it up to you. You're right about auto weapons being already a little OP in vanilla but when you use VATS, there's at least a trade-off since you're using a resource (AP) to get those criticals. That's why I said that it feels like cheating with no AP used outside of VATS (naturally).
You’re referring to all weapons having the Gunslinger chance to disarm, right? I checked and Bethesda seemed to have fixed it themselves at some point. I checked the conditions on Gunslinger and they seemed sound, and was unable to recreate the issue. I don’t think there are any other changes the unofficial patch made, are there?
I'm trying out this mod along with Be Exceptional/LevelUpMenuEX and I'm not sure it's working. BE makes Rifleman a skill vs being a perk. Haven't got a pop up yet or maybe I just got bad RNG?

is there any way of having it trigger the vats style bullet cam when the critical hit happens?
