no idea what this has to do with the damage of the knife?? That is something would change in xedit or CK not NifSkope ... so unclear what point trying to make here.
OK .. confused as the original and this dealt with damage not size. if changing size i generally go back into blender and redo the mesh there as have a lot more control and not that hard with BS/OS to bring back in and overlay the model in nifskope.
balance in fallout and 99% of games is something that needs to be fixed. I assure you, a real living person will need one blow with a knife to die (if you know how to handle a knife). The damage of all weapons must be increased many times so that STEALTH is possible and the game comes at least a little closer to a real battle.
ah but if it is a mono blade then the armor is about as good as tissue paper .. of course with some of the mods i run even the OP mono does not kill somethings run into with one hit still is fun to try.
This is anything but an NKVD knife! The author (REB85) clearly did not have enough gray matter to stop and think a little about what he had done! He would have also put a "bear with a balalaika" there - then this work would have been like a diagnosis in general.
Its based on "Финский нож". And those were used indeed by NKVD https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A4%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B6
But, yes this elegant looking one looks like a gift or award knife, during KGB era, and also kinda stuff you can buy now as souvenirs in Russia.
He doesn't even pull on a souvenir knife - the author stuck a star with a hammer and sickle, a hammer and sickle, the coat of arms of the USSR, without knowing the measure, and the signs are duplicated / inverted ... - this is not work, but obscenity.
PS: Bad taste and ugliness.
Не знаю, почему его называют нож НКВД, но у нас, всю жизнь его называли финка - у меня таких несколько штук (правда в гораздо худшем состоянии чем на приведенном для примера фото), дед с войны принёс.
I assure you, the author has enough gray matter. But you probably have a deficit. The NKVD knife is geometry. The materials of the handle and the grade of steel changed. At the moment, if you open Google, you will see exactly the knives with a red star. There are quite a few "cranberries" in the Fallout universe. I think there should be more of it and it should be more beautiful. If you have any problems with the symbols of communism, then you are either a fascist or poorly taught history.
As for the size: everything that is now on sale is modern replicas, in most cases having nothing to do with the original (limitation of legislation). As for the symbolism: you did not even understand what nonsense you wrote, think carefully about what I wrote in the previous post, but I will hint - even on modern replicas, there is no such absurd number of logos: it is pasted over just like a tourist's suitcase.
Well .. I just checked out this mod. This is better than I expected, this time, the fallout renders the textures as I created, and the smooth groups work as they should. It's a good job, I'm grateful jsnider193
monomolecular blade .. will slice thru steel armor like butter even ... but yeah is a bit high so will probably fix here later just needed user input. Of course I got mobbed by about 100 bloat flies and the knife did not save me.
