    Thanks for this, I'm not really a fan of weapon mods adding their own ammo type for what end up being very arbitrary reasons.

    I really like this mod, it offers some essential balance to Deadpool's version. Thank you. I like everything except the 5mm receiver because it's easy to get unlimited ammo. Can you make a version without it (not available to craft and no spawns, basically remove it from the game altogether) or can you offer me some tips of modding it myself? I assume I have to use FO4Edit?

      There, you can change the 5mm to any ammo type you want. Just read through the texts and find the info you want.
       
      Though I don't know how you get unlimited ammo. 5mm should be quite rare in vanilla. I'm currently playing a stealth pistol build and I
      never run out of 10mm, .38, .45 either.  All seem unlimited to me with
      scrounger perk. I don't see any reason why 5mm can be OP.

    You do realize the first two LL entries you made point to .308 ammo, not .38 ammo - right?

    Always wanted to add this weapon from Deadpool, but never did as I don't want ammo cluttering up my world.
    One question though, how come it's an extra esp, and not an overriding esp?

      Because I didn't ask the author for any permission. To make things easier. This way, I'm just making a patch. No string attached.

      You can combine them in F4Edit.

    You do no 5mm is a rifle round in the Fallout universe right?

      By tons of rifles actually. Yet, a lower tier ammo of .38 Cal. naturally comes to this.
      In vanilla Fallout 4, 5mm only used by minigun. With mods, rifles with high tier mods. Pistols, almost none. So, you see, it fills the void.

      Considering the real world 5mm, also the rifle ammo facts of it in Fallout 4, it should do more damage in this sense. However, you'll find that it was only 0.008 weight in game, compared to 0,014 of .38

    Are you converting these to normal ammo so they are compatible with Wasteland Ballistics?

      It all depends. I only converted the ammo type to vanilla because the new ammo was a mess. I did nothing else than what I stated in the description.
      If that mod works with mod added weapons + vanilla ammo, then yes, it just works.  If not, you should ask the author. It's his/her design choice.

      Yeah i totally agree with the change. I had to do similar with "Miniguns Rebirth", instead of using the "5mm" from the vanilla game it decided to make up a new ammunition type called "5mmR". Annoying, so i understand.

      The 9mm ammo was too much, even the author admitted it. His later mods all used vanilla ammo instead.

      Mingun Rebirth was much an improvement as everything was adjustable in-game and also balanced vanilla.
