It would be godsent to place a timer on the markers, i think for the first days or so it wouldnt hurt the immersion if people, NPCs go wild with the hammering in sanctuary. It reminds of good old Age Of Empries, 1, 2 etc where people used the hammer animation when building. Now just imagine the houses would change after time when people are done ...
Note that if installed while npcs are currently hammering, you need to wait until they finish that session. After that, sweet silence.
Seems like there's a problem with disabling those markers when using Transfer Settlements. For me it caused a CTD in Sanctuary during TS's scanning phase. Creating a clean save allowed TS to scan & export successfully.
the both of them totally removes the idle markers and that may lead to some weird bugs in heavily modded game i only disabled the idle hammering markers and they still in the cell.
It comes down to how the deed is done and concern over breaking precombines. Personally, I want to record hammering by forty-four people and have that playing on an endless loop blasting the house of the lead scriptwriter for Fallout IV. At the very least, it needs to stop after a while with actual improvements resulting from it!
I totally blocked off the players original home with private area markers https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26377?tab=posts and fences so they never hammer close to my house as they are not allowed anywhere near it. I also have a couple of these in the generals quarter's in castle to keep wanderers out of my side of the room.

Your mod works a treat, so thanks!
Thanks for the sanity.
