I never claimed this track was my own, but I did fix the description to give credit. Since this was a non-monetized cover I thought it wouldn't be an issue.
Does not matter if he is not claiming the track as his own. The original cover clearly states that the remix they had created was originally by Bethesda. However, the artist responsible for this particular remastering of an already existing song does deserve praise for their work. Its essentially like modding fallout at all. The vanilla game is great, but adding mods created by others whose names are stamped on the work deserve praise for their hard work and efforts.
I won't be downloading this because I don't like metal but how about you give the author of the song some credit. Because I know for a fact you didn't make this
I like it, but it needs about a second cut off the beginning of the sound file and a fade-in/fade out. If you don't know what I mean, start the video showcasing the mod at 0:14.5, and compare it with starting it at 0:12. It sounds much better starting from 0:14.5, and if you used an audio editor to add a tiny fade effect starting at zero volume and fading in to full volume in around .25 seconds starting just barely before the 0:14.5 second mark in the video, it will blend in professionally instead of sounding like it was cut harshly out of the song it came from. I'm a bit of an old hand at this, (I did something similar in a Skyrim metal combat music mod I made back in the day) and would even be happy to tweak it for you if you like.
