    It's finally here!

    That's right, I finally uploaded the full release of version 3.0! The original plan was to upload it on Halloween, but that obviously didn't happen, so sorry about that. I'm just really bad with deadlines. Anyway, this complete version includes everything from previous versions (combat music, VATS and UI sounds, etc.) plus new exploration music, sounds and tracks. Also, new Main Menu that you can actually see in the stickied comment right under this one, expect that in this completed version it looks a bit better and is accompanied by a new track. 

    Future plans
    As for the future of this mod, the next step will be replacing music and ambience tracks introduced by DLCs. I would also like to make this mod even more customizable, meaning you could practically pick and choose almost every tiny sound, but that would probably take a lot of time which I don't have these days. And after that, I don't know. I might look into introducing some game mechanics to go with the whole theme of this mod, but that is far in the future.

    Hey guys! Here's an update on the upcoming version 3.0 of this mod. 

    So I know it's been a while since I released v2.0 and work on the next update has been slow, BUT I've got something to show you today! The original plan for version 3.0 was "just" to add exploration music, but in the end I wanted to do a little bit more. So the next update is not only going to feature new exploration music, but also a new main menu (and maybe even loading screen, but I'm not decided about that yet)! Anyway, here's a little sneak peak on what the new main menu will look like. It's not finished yet, take this more as a proof of concept rather than a finished product. I still have to create some soundtrack that will go along this video and I'm still not satisfied with the way it looks, so further edits probably will be made. 



    As you can see, it's nothing fancy. I just recorded my eye in 4k, slapped some game footage, stock footage and parts of the intro video on it, rendered it in 1080p and called it a day. I would love to hear your thoughts!

      I first want to start off by saying that it's interesting that someone would want to do this. I for one, as someone who suffers from Schizophrenia, have always found media's interpretation of schizophrenia to be... lacking.

      I read down a little bit and saw that you were considering adding this as a status effect.  If you can, make it something that suppresses the side effects, not removes it entirely, and gets worse as time goes on. Alleviation could be something as simple as talking to followers, making eye contact with them, or petting the dog. This would be a "snap back to reality" moment. Longterm meds could be (in series lore) Calmex, as it is a tranquilizer, and inevitably you could link permanent solutions to something like KCI - Kellog's Cybernetic Implants, but more specifically, the cybernetic Brain Augmenter.

      Please also remember that schizophrenia also would cause the sufferer not just audio/visual hallucinations, but they could become delusional, begin rambling to themselves (often times getting a response back from the inner voices), lose/become disorganized in motor behavior, insomnia, catatonia, catalepsy, seizures, and ease of addiction. Addiction could even make it worse, especially things like Jet, Day-tripper, mentats, Daddy-O, and alcohol. Psychotic episodes you could include in the mod would be something along the line of coming home and seeing/hearing Nate/Nora in the house, Aiming a rifle/pistol only for it to become or sound like a crying Shaun,  the sound of random flies, crowds of voices, cars and horns, bees or hornets swarming (a personal symptom) the sound of a gavel (for Nora) drill instructor shouting orders/being at boot-camp (Nate), raider/super mutant/companion/NPC suddenly become/sound like a deathclaw and charges at you when you make eye contact, then stops when it gets close, a telephone ringing, your character's spouse saying some kind of line randomly (not echoing), your romantic partner in game speaking the wrong dialog and correct dialog at the same time.  An example would be Curie telling you she loves you while also telling you that you're a terrible person, then a terrible laugh that overrides all audio.

      Thank you so much for your input! I'm aware that schizophrenia isn't just hearing voices, but for now I'm incapable of doing more. I'm still trying to figure out how would I go about adding all the features that I want this mod to have. But when I finally know how to do it, I will definitely keep in mind what you said. I'm also currently working on replacement tracks for most of exploration music. These new tracks will give the player a much more realistic experience and it will also be much closer to the real signs of schizophrenia than the combat tracks that are available in the current version of this mod. I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say that the new exploration tracks will feature some things that will feel very appropriate for the Sole Survivor to be experiencing.

    Not sure if you are still around, but just in case...I thoroughly enjoy almost all of this.  The only reason I say "almost" is that if I could change one thing it would be removing the actual game dialogue from the "exploration" music.  The kellog, new-game vault 111, and player character stuff.  It doesn't fit in with the rest of the mod's audio at all and really ruins the vibe.

    How about a mod that does what you are implying? Just imagine it, you are exploring the wasteland with no music and no one around you but behind you, you hear "hello" (or a random whisper) very quietly so you don't know if you actually heard it. Gotta make it rare so people don't see it coming.

    Wow this mod is such an amazing price of horror art! I have asked somebody to port it so thankyou so much for allowing us Xbox users the possibility to experience the ride. The permission is really appreciated and I'm sure that one ported, this will be a huge hit on console as I am citern it has been on PC. Thankyou for sharing

    love this mod, but i stopped playing fallout 4 and went back to new vegas because... yeah that's just inevitable

    any plans or chance of you making a mod like this for NV or FO3?

    Привет. Как мне вырезать голоса Шона и Нейта? Я играю с модом Start me up, я не хочу слушать какого-то мужика и спиногрыза. Мне нужно шептание и ультразвук, это очень хорошо давит на мозги. А так мне приходить играть с выключенной музыкой. Скажи название этих файлов где есть их голоса.

    Considered making a VATS standalone? I was honestly awed by how good the vats felt in the video, like something out of dishonored. I'd honestly love something like that in NV
