Someone has GOT to do a scripted sequence where dogmeat walks up and cat pounces him, chases him around a house, then comes sauntering back sans dogmeat with a kitty smirk. (and yes, I had a cat do that to a dog... I called her Ninja Kitty)
Different ID use help cat 0 in console and then player.placeatme baseid(the Id next to the cat) As far as I remember it should spawn a cat there are many different ones. I think I use housecat.
Considering it HAS to use the same code that is not surprising, it's the same code that has been in use since Skyrim (well, mostly) so credit shouldn't be necessary for such a simple command.
Yeah, it is console code so people were bound to post similar bat files. A lot of us are screwing around in the console right now.
Nice, wanted this the moment I seen the first cat in-game, can't wait for the CK to be released for F4 so we can have proper additional named followers though.

I'm sure this is a silly question based on the title but does it count as a follower? Meaning can I only have the cat and not Dogmeat or a companion? Thanks!

Too lazy
Or do cats not even fight at all if you encounter them in the wasteland?
