I haven't tried that one so I can't comment there, I know it doesn't work well (or at all, I've had both reports in private) with Bleachers, however that mod adds in a lot more to security including females, so bit a moot point there.

Not sure of others but I only have 4 Female and 12 Male faces, so might have been random not-luck there for the females appearing.

not sure about old file, im using the latest but when i check with fo4edit everything is the same as the default male dc security setting except with added perk and prps is it suppose to  be like that? i didnt touch anything.. i got picture but idk how to put it here xD
(im not modder just using any mod avaible here so my knowledge about this thing is low im sorry if im being a burden im still slowly learning how to use Fo4edit for conflict too) if it supposed to be like that then its just my luck not encountering any

    Hmm...that's a good question.
Why did f4 have the random sexism here?

Definitely not sexism, probably just an oversight. Bethesda is absolutely the type of company to make this kind of mistake.

In the FO4 time frame, there were no female cops on the street.

More than likely it was Bethesda avoiding the long and expensive voice acting time. Probably the same reason for the trappers in Far harbor.

The divergence from the real world timeline happend somewhere around 1945-1950. Boston had (a small number of) female police officers as early as the 1920s.

      From Wikipedia:

In 1921, Irene McAuliffe, daughter of the late Weston police chief and horse breeder Patrick McAuliffe, was among the first six femalemembers of the Boston Police Department. An accomplished horsewoman, she was sworn in as a mounted officer of the Weston Police Department in 1913 during the town's bicentennial celebration. She joined the District of Columbia Police Department in 1920, and in 1921 she became a member of the Boston Police Department's Vice Squad.[

If Varied Diamond City Guards is a requirement for this mod to work, you may want to add it to the required mods list. That way it'll pop up that  it's needed when someone attempts to download this one. Also, you may want to say something about the load order required to get the two to play nice together. If it doesn't matter, then mention that.

The way you talk about the other mod in the description, is like you're just giving the other author props, not requiring his mod for yours to work, and it's not until the next section that you mention it's required.

Not trying to pick, but sometimes you can avoid a bunch of bug reports and repetitive questions from users by being extra clear in your description.

I've created a mod that includes his extra DC presets and several females.

The reason for this is that you can't get the mod to work without combining the two
Looks to me like there's no requirement... Doubly so, considering I don't use the first and have this open in FO4Edit (trying to figure it out so I can patch it with AWARHERO's The Great Green Jewel).

Is it okay to switch from a save that has always had the original Cthulhuandme varied guards to this one?

I imagine it might take a while to have them filter into their ranks, but if that's the only likely issue that's fine with me.

Also, does it still need darthbdman's mod for the male outfit variety?

I think they will change after the usual 3 days, as for outfits, I haven't changed anything there as of wanting to make sure there's no conflicts with any DC Security outfit replacers

Great for immersion, the lack of female DC guards never made sense to me in the first place so this is great :)

Far Harbor has NO females/kids out side the major settlements.(not counting rad eaters and gunners) That surprised me after the commonwealth and Nuka World. It may not have been an over site though for DC. I don't think there were street beat female cops in the late 40s early 50s, or even 60s(U.S.A.). So, historically, it would be correct. But then only a small part of the game makes any kind of sense, so it does not matter.

Is this compatible with Stronger Diamond City Guards?

They did exist, actually. But in limited capacity.

Even then, it doesn't make much sense because the game takes place in the post-apocalypse and there's no sign that civil rights movement failed prior to 2077.

      To answer both

1 - As DickyDee said, this is 210 years after the world's gone to s***, I highly doubt they'd care unless you could do the job, and aren't Communist.
2 - I have my own version of buffs to the guards, so they should be less ... "dead"

Yes, I included the buffs that I put in as part of this mod, they're only light anyway, so maybe not as "hey, I just got shot in the chest by a .50 and live" level, but might at least survive a few rounds of .38.

It's from Boston Emergency Services Mod (BESM) and is something I've tweaked but so far haven't gotten permission for release, it's also that I find the vanilla outfits a bit "eh" as of a few reasons.

If you take into consideration that most of the  population has died off; It makes sense that the luxury of not shielding women from dangerous jobs no longer exists.

"The reason for this is that you can't get the mod to work without combining the two, that's how the NPC preset spawn lists work, so if you're using a different mod that adds in new DC Security that too will have a conflict."So are we suppose to use this mod with " Varied Diamond City Guards"

I think I gave them the Generic Female Tough voice, but I can't 100% remember if it was that or just generic settler.

Would be nice to get some female guard VO lines at some point.
