I tried the mod , grenades make a sound but the npcs are not showing up. Checked area with console commands , under mesh and even over. Tried this on both modded and a vanilla save. This mod didn't work on either. Either mod doesn't work.

Hello, it seems I have a problem, when I tried to summon a few of them in County Crossing I didn't seem them, I checked everywhere around the settlement, underground even out of the settlement but still didn't find them, I tested on multiple of the grenades but none of them works I just don't see the Pre War Settlers, I have the latest version by the way.

Do the soldiers have unique dialogue? Those are the only ones that interest me! Perfect for enclave themed settlements.

Anyone else getting CTDs in/around Sanctuary after installing this mod? I get CTDs when fast traveling or loading a save in/around Sanctuary. Not saying this mod is the cause but I'm getting CTDs after installing this and others and I'm just trying to narrow down the suspects

Would love if Curie could revive them.

Do they have workshop scripts and keywords?

If you're asking if you can hire them as settlers, the answer is yes.
If you don't hire them, they will be despawned by your cell-to-cell movement.

But will they sandbox and assign to beds and work properly?

At least it worked in my environment.
If you think it's weird, try it yourself.

How do you hire them as settlers? Is it by sending them to a settlement that counts as hiring them?? Or is there a console command I can use? PC They do talk but just stand in the same place or leave after being assigned. I love the mod. But only wish they acted like settlers and move around. I assigned 2 of them to guard duty, I left the settlement for some game-play when I came back they both were gone. They fight however when my settlement was attacked.

Update: I found one of my settlers. Thanks for the info on where to look. Back at Sanctuary. I sent her to where I spawned her at. After she gets there I will try giving her an assignment. I do love this mod the npc's are clean and beautiful.

2nd Update: Works perfectly. Although the npc's I sent home never made it, so I recalled them with the mod while at the settlement I wanted them in. It's not quite clear as to how to assign them but I did figure it out. With the Slide-up command bar, you choose the "MOVE" command to send the settler to it's new home settlement. Once that's done, you can then assign it to any assignable post. I love this mod and glad it's working now. Thank you.

    Hi, thanks for the mod.
All seems to work except that I can't give the settlers any orders. I don't have any other npc mod's so im not sure what he problem may be?

At first, I thought: Who would want a mod like this, that brings those neighbors back to life? But then I realized there's some great roleplaying potential in that. If you were somehow able to save them after waking up in Vault 111, not only you would be their hero for saving their lives, but you would also get your old friends back to share both fond memories of the pre-war, as well as the horrors of the post apocalyptic world. Fight for your lives together, help each other out through the day and spend evenings talking about the good old times before the war. You would no longer feel alone in this new world.
