There are no special requirements beyond vanilla Fallout 4.

This mod isn't supported on the console. It's only for PC.

Description:

Adds alternate ending cinematics for Fallout 4 created by iMod in the style of New Vegas ending slides instead of... whatever it is we got in Fallout 4. There are many different files accounting for faction choice and gender. The player never speaks in these cinematics so if you want a silent character this would fit you well.

There are two versions of this mod, both available for download on this page.

There is the main version, 8 video files accounting for faction choice and player gender. This version requires activating a blank .esl (light master) plug-in called "iModAlternateCinematics.esl". The main version does not replace the original video files, they are simply never used again while the mod is active.

There is a simpler version with no plug-in file of any kind that just replaces the original 4 files accounting for Institute choice (for or against) and gender. If you use this, backup the original video files if you plan on reverting to them at some point.

Q: Do I need to start a new game?
A: No.

Q: Is this mod compatible with [insert favorite mod here]?
A: The short answer is that I don't know, figure it out, but as long as the mod doesn't change the vanilla script named "mq00script", you'll probably be fine. I don't know any mods that do that, but you're welcome to let me know otherwise. The .esl file is blank but don't let that fool you, you still need to activate it for the mod to work.

If you're worried about this minor change you can also download the simpler version which doesn't edit script "mq00script" or even use a plug-in file.
