I understand why you did this and you are not claim credit for the work itself and that your motives appear pure but if you haven't asked the creator for permission then I think you should have done so. Niero does not appear to be an unreasonable person and probably would have welcomed this as a chance for these creation to enrich the lives of many fallout fan but to not give him the chance, this also makes it more likely someone else will take this material and post it somewhere with no morals or ethics.
I think its great you are get attention for a amazing creator of content, and I hope I missed the part where Niero endorses this effort
Lurdium, it depends on the original mods permissions as to if you need to ask or not, depending on what those permissions are you would only need to ask if the original textures/meshes etc are included in it, or maybe even not even then, it all depends on the original mod uploaders permissions.
If you are using sorting mods like Ruddy88's simple sorter and Fallui Complex sorter that scan and apply sorting edits to a single esp creating a single patch file. Those mods still have a 256 plugin limit regardless of it being a light esp or an esl. Meaning you may have to make another patch to load another 256 more plugins that will have those edits, 3 if you have more than 500+ mods. The sorting mods load as a custom esp so it won't break you game or anything. But I guess this is for people that want to condense everything into one sorting esp, or lower the esp count in general.
ESL can in theory go to 4096 in number, my guess though will be like esp/esm max numbers there will be an actual much lower number and after that things get a bit wonky, and will very much be install dependent.
Not that hard, far too many mods only contain tine changes or single suits of clothing and armour, add a couple of hundred of them and their associated level lists esl and very easy to do.
My left pane according to mo2, has 762 mods in it, and my esp/esm/esl side on the right is showing 544, and I do not have a particularly big load on my Fallout 4.
Make sure to move the assets from every required mod into this one, unpack all the BA2s and repack them with the same name as the esp (Cathedral Assets Optimizer works best for this), otherwise you'll have invisible models and/or broken textures in-game.
what about adding the 2k or 4k files ? do i move across the tools and sounds files as well ?also i wouldn't need to download the other mods to my load order if i am moving all the files to this one esp? do i have to manual download all the files of can i just pick the ones i want?
Thank you for making this! I'm very rusty when it comes to making my own .esp's so this is a godsend. Since a modder's work changes over time, could you please list in the description all of the CROSS items this includes? Just in case some mods get taken down or new mods are uploaded in the future by Niero, I'd love to see what mods are covered.
i don't know why, but i don't have anything in game from using this mod.
i USED to have the mojave manhunter armor, and upon using this mod over the original, the armor is now completely 100% invisible on my character and the manhunter hat butchers my character's head: expands the hair and disconnects it from the head while also shrinking the head and pushing it into the neck.
and when i was crafting the weapons in the chem station, several weapons did not have an in-game model for them, the archimedes is one of them.
i AM using the 4k texture packs for all of cross' weapons and armors.
Unpack the BA2's of the original mod. To use them with this you'd have to unpack them all, then repack them into a new BA2 named appropriately to the ESP.
The more I know, I didn't know he was done with making the mods he was usually doing, I thought he was just taking a prolonged break from the modding scene
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, indeed. Seriously though, if that's the case, I think having a flourishing career working on the games Niero loves maybe was more important to them than lewd outfits?
I miss him too, but I am extremely delighted to hear that his hard work and vision has been rewarded with a career with a developer in a field hes clearly passionate about. Congrats, dude, we're all rooting for ya.
Having a similar problem to one posted in the Bug section.
Followed instructions, installed required mods and then disabled them individually by their plugins in mod organizer. Then I installed this mod and enabled it. The items show up in game but the textures do not load/appear. Guess I'll just uninstall all the mods used in this.
Sorry, seems I forgot about that. When I have time I'll make an update including it. Otherwise, it's super easy to merge it with this (or the original ESPs) yourself. :)
