Update: I've recently started learning more about mod development for a project I'm starting. Now that I'm active on here again there are a couple of things I want to let people know about this mod just in case they didn't that I hope will be useful.

1. If you don't read anything else, this is intended to be used along with the CryoFix mod by HiSaZuL.

2. An esl flagged esp is available, but the regular esp file is set as the main vortex download because that's the format I originally released it in and I didn't want to risk breaking anyone's existing save by changing it to an esl flagged esp. It might not, but I don't want to risk it. If you play a lot of Fallout 4 you probably already know that Cryo weapons are broken because actors killed while frozen do not respawn properly. There is already a fantastic mod that fixes this named CryoFix authored and uploaded by HiSaZuL that I cannot recommend enough. Seriously, if you don't already have it stop reading, open a duplicate tab, search CryoFix, download it, and endorse it. Everyone playing this game in 2021 should be using it. But that fix does not address one of the problems with Cryo weapons, the DamageDamageResist effect that has always been broken in the Creation Engine. It lowers the targets Damage Resist, persists after respawn, stacks with itself, and never cleans up. It was the same on the Marked For Death shout in Skyrim. This mod edits one single vanilla form, namely the CryoFreezeSpell, and removes the broken DamageDamageResist effect from it, effectively removing it from Fallout 4 entirely as far as I know. The USLEEP fix in Skyrim was to make the effect unable to stack with itself because removing it would make Marked For Death pretty useless. Because it edits only one form, it should be compatible with anything that does not edit CryoFreeeSpell and is intended to be used as a supplemental fix alongside HiSaZuL's CryoFix mod. Also below, I'm going to give a quick tip to get any previously paralyzed and bugged actors (from before installing HiSaZuL's mod) working again using the console.

The only method I have had success with when fixing an actor with the Cryo paralysis bug is to:
Select the actor after opening the console
Confirm you have the proper actor selected. Run the command "getav 2f2" without the quotation marks. It should return -1 on a bugged actor.

Run the command "modav 2f2 1" on the selected actor. This will reset the 2f2 (Paralysis) effect to 0 (False).

While they are still selected, run "Disable" then "Enable"

Most actors will be fixed at this point. However if they do not start behaving normally after closing the console you will have to open the console again and run the "RecycleActor" command with the target still selected, then repeat the "Disable" "Enable" commands. This has fixed every previously bugged actor I have personally encountered.

Actors with previously lowered Damage Resistance might be permanently bugged in that regard. I have not found a fix yet, and if anyone does please let me know and I'll post it here.
