Love this mod and the entire SS2 line. Seems to be some compatibility issues though with ROTC and Ruined Homes and Gardens since the update. Having both will have the game stuck on the main menu. New Game will not launch, and selecting mods or CC will have an endless 'initializing' message. Between the two, this one is staying in my load order.
Edit: Also appears to be the same conflict with Industrial Revolution as well.
mod no longer works on NG version of the game. It simply wont load when i do COC qasmoke and i did give it a good 5 minutes wait. the game simply freeze forever with this mod enabled. You are not the only one.
in the original version there was a setting that aloud all the settlement to be prebuilt from the start of the game and u would stumble upon them already build as you traverse the world how do i do that with this version
Having some issues with this one. Initially everything was working great, settlements were taking care of themselves and upgrading well. Unfortunately for a while now some of the newer settlements as well as the older ones are no longer upgrading. Every now and then they might upgrade a single plot here and there and they are flush with resources with every bar full. But many are stuck as Level 0 and the older ones like Sanctuary have been at Level 2 for more than a month ingame.
Some of them have been stuck at Level 0 for weeks despite the arrow indicating that they have been ready to upgrade for a very long while. I have tried changing it to manual upgrades but I don't get the option to do so. I have turned off Hold Until Seen and have tried all the other potential fixes I could find to no avail.
My last option is to use the console command to force the upgrade but I'm wary of doing so as apparently that can be save-breaking and I'm playing Survival and don't really want to risk it. Is anyone else having the same issues?
Apologies if you've already tried this, but it wasn't mentioned.
If you open the Workshop so you get the full workshop UI open, if the 'SIZE' bar on the top right filled out completely? If so they can't build or upgrade any more because it's hit the limit.
If so you need to increase the Build Size limit by pressing space to manage on the workshop, and then Configure Build limits, and increase by choosing an option. Might as well just increase by 100%
It's just an odd thing you have to keep an eye on in your settlements. Why it isn't dynamic beats me.
I also turn off hold until seen.. this way the settlements will upgrade without you having to visit them constantly for the upgrade process... it makes no sense that you have to be there for the settlement to upgrade...
This mod is great (short-term). However, if you try building up multiple settlements with rise of the commonwealth city plans, over time your game will start crashing during any loading sequences during gameplay. This is not including triangle of death.
I have a powerful computer so I never have any crashing issues while in settlements that are fully developed to tier 3. It's only crashing when I'm fast traveling and or entering or exiting buildings/locations. The crashing gets worse and worse over time after multiple settlements are upgrading and expanding throughout my gameplay at random times.
I've tried every possible fix I could think of to resolve the crashing and I came up short. But I do know it's this specific mod causing it. I believe the Bethesda engine just can't support a beautiful mod like this one. :(
Semi necroing as its over a week old but have you tried https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46340
It expands the script limit for FO which is likely the issue you're running into as I assuming by crash you mean it hangs and doesn't load. Happens when too many scripts are running which comes from using too many city plans no matter which plan you're using.
the strength of your computer is mostly irrelevant. the game just isn't designed to handle too many scripts. you have to remember the game was released and designed to barely handle what it comes with. i love bethesda games, but gd they do the bare minimum needed to launch... so bandaids and community fixed only go so far. the engine is what it is. i never do more than one settlement with SS development. and never in that so called triangle of death. more than that and you'll inevitably start pushing the engine. push it too far and it'll choke. it's just the way it is. pick an out of the way settlement, i usually go with sunshine, and stick to that one. and i don't fast travel to it directly, i FT nearby and walk in to allow scripts time to do their thing gradually as i get closer. i'd love to develop the entire commonwealth, but that's just not going to happen until someone comes up with some brilliant fix or they rebuild the game.
I wish this included auto upgrades for power transfer plots. I'm stuck on the HQ quest because I'm too lazy to go around building power transfer plots after having everything auto built so far.
I know I probably won't get an answer but I'm trying to use the city plan for Sanctuary but there are houses in ruins that are clipping with the applied city plan and nothing gets built there, is this just not working/outdated?
Is anyone else having trouble leveling up a settlement? I have all settlements at max except for one and despite having everything I need and even using the force level up command, it will not upgrade to level 3; even though it says it went from 2 to 3 after the command.

I believe the engine is just incapable of handling multiple developed settlements.
Any tips would be most welcome.
