Not sure If I did it right BUT I'm pretty sure I eliminated the need of this mod taking up a plugin spot in your load order! Steps:
1. Open this mod in FO4Edit (It should automatically load Agony and Wasteland Imports as well) 2. Go down to Ingestibles tab of (Drink Away the Pain Mod) and shift + click the top to bottom highlighting all the ingestibles 3. I believe the option is "Copy as new record into.." (If not that one then I used "override into.." but don't fully remember right now) 4.Choose the Agony Mod in the pop up window to send the records to Agony from Drink Away the Pain (Confirm Making Wasteland Imports a Master) 5.Check the ingestibles in Agony afterwards to confirm everything transferred correctly 6. Click the top left drop down pane and choose "save" (Save the Agony Mod) 7.Disable the Drink Away the pain mod in your Mod Launcher (Whichever one you use) 8.Your Welcome!

The esp for this mod is an ESP/ESL so it doesn't take a spot in your load order regardless of that editing the base ESP of a mod is/can get messy especially if the base mod ends up updating (not that i think agony will get updated anytime soon). In practice yes your instructions would work to eliminate an ESP but 9/10 times it is just safer/easier to edit an original mod via an ESP/ESL patch that way nothing in the base mod is messed up in the process whether that be you left stuff from the patch in the base mod if you were to delete it or you accidently delete/change something in the base mod that you didn't want to.
