Ok, I made a new clean instance of Next Gen Fallout 4 with IAF. Works pretty fine for me, no update is needed. Could you all confirm if the mod is working nicely for you too, ladies and gentlemen?
Hey guys If this mod isnt working for you try check the plugins section on Vortex and make sure it is enabled there, on the "Mods" section it was green for me but the plugin was inactivated
Similar issue but for me it was activated under "Mods" but the .ESP was not enabled under "plugins". Either way I wouldn't have thought to check that without seeing your recommendation, so thank you!
Seems to be working quite well on NG. Sometimes PC is drinking or eating from empty hand, but thats expected. I imagine its hard to keep track of hundreds or thousands of consumables in game and that not one of them would be glitchy. Animation is still playing and besides the missing texture/mesh, it looks perfect and most consumables work perfect too. I especially love the sound when nuka-cola bottle is opened and textures on dirty water, whiskey, nuka-cola bottles.
I have Maim 2, and the healing animations are replaced with my character eating. I couldn't find any patch, or if my load order is incorrect.
Some mods I have installed: Advanced needs 76, and the patch for immersive animation Damn Apocalypse ( I know this adds some healing items so not sure if has any conflict) Russian Stimpack (Replaces the default stimpack)
I knew that was what was causing it! Shame theres no fix patch or anything yet. Maybe someone will make one though! For me, for some reason the textures are missing.
Edit: Oh, it was an extraction issue nvm! I tried to extract textures and did it poorly
the animations for the liquor bottles are great but breaking them after drinking doesn't make sense to me as you may require them for later use, it would be great if you could add an option in the mcm menu to toggle that on or off. other than that this mod is just outstanding, thank you.
Yeah that can be an explanation but smashing it so hard as if you have a feud with that bottle is just over the top XD. it can also break immersion when using stealth and doing that. the animation itself is just top quality but doesn't make sense.
Having the same issue in current playthrough. Some delays playing animations (but the item gets used though) and I have the "use animation in combat" ON. Also, sometimes when they do play, the players hand seems empty,- PC is making a drinking gesture, but without the bottle (nuka cola, water..). Maybe I just have a heavy load order,- using stuff like NACX and RealAI.
works almost seamlessly but there's an odd bug where, if you drop a consumable from your inventory and then use the Drink/Eat etc. command the game freezes. works fine with objects already placed in the world. not like there's much reason to drop an item to consume it other than to test that the UI prompt is still there, but just thought I'd mention it.
Anyone got a fix for the invisible water bottle? Any modded water bottle just becomes invisible for me. Retexture works but any mods that alter mesh just don't work.
If you use a mod that adds new objects, you will have to manually patch it in xedit to make it compatible, or use complex sorter which also does it automatically when generating the file with the tags

Tried to remove the mesh editing the ba2, the mod refuses to work without it
