Played this all the way through... to be told I was a cheater.
However, in the end... I could not leave the facility. No matter what I did, I was stranded inside with "inaccessible" doors... and no, you cannot tcl your way towards any viable exit.
Saved my game, loaded a previous one... saved that, exited, removed mod... cannot endorse.
I finished the tests and all I got was this room with mole rat cages, a robot named "O.V.E.R.S.E.E.R.", and a terminal displaying "recommended" vaults. No control center or special items; the description is very misleading when it mentions a control center. Is there something I did wrong?
Playing on Xbox One. Right in the beginning where the terminal is to start it tells me to start the strength test and gives me a map waypoint but there's a wall blocking my path
Same thing here, there's a map mark over the terminal but its screen only shows "Vault tec Test subject intake terminal" with a cursor blinking at bottom and nothing happens
After exit the terminal map mark don't vanish.
(with the mole rat I choose "i'm talking with rats" "you let robbots..." then exit option)
Real awkward beginning - between the outdated instructions about putting your stuff away and a wall that shouldn't have been there barring progress past the first terminal, I wasn't really sure what to think. Fortunately tcl solved the problem, and the rest went off without a hitch.
I'm at the terminal to start the quest in Vault-Tec HQ, but the terminal just says "Error" and won't let me interact with it. Anything to do about that?
Edit: The problem was there was another terminal there covering up your terminal. I disabled that one and was able to continue. However, no slot opened up for me to deposit my items in nor retrieve the PIP. I was able to continue into the vault with all my items.
Actually, that terminal in conflict (Ben Arnald's Terminal) is from Sim Settlements 2. So if you haven't done that quest in Sim Settlement 2, not a good idea to disable that terminal
If we move a bit to our right, we can highlight the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Terminal and initiate the quest
Just finished the quest. Some cool stuff in here. Loved the bobblehead bit. This is worth developing further and has obvious extensions - hope you will continue.
In my game the initial terminal states that all gear should be removed and placed in a slot. Did you mean the trunk? I've seen other mods remove gear automatically & this might be an idea for your mod with the gear to be collected afterwards from the trunk.
I tried forcibly taking the players items, however higher level players tent to acquire a lot of clutter throughout their adventures which caused a none stop stream of UI notifications that slowly noted each item that was removed. It really took me out of the experience so I decided to let players keep their equipment, since there's not test conductors there to enforce the removal of items.

No, just NO. I repeat, do NOT use script from Depravity.
Not only it removes the items, but due to game engine bugs it literally annihilates all the items after a certain amount - you aren't gonna get any of your rare stuff back. This is why mods that remove this exact invasive script from Depravity, Fusion City Rising and Outcasts and Remnants exist.
I used a console command to put everything in the trunk, but since there's no "slot" providing me with a jumpsuit, I'm about to attempt the test starkers (yes I have a nudist mod).

The quest itself is okay.
