While I love this mod, I do wish that the geckos weren't added to the game from the start. If they only showed up in the world once the PC investigated the wrecked caravan and started the quest, similar to Rust Devils and Ada, I think it would mesh much better with the world.
I love this mod, but I'm not too keen on them being added into the levelled lists; I would prefer to just have the companion, and then create additional Geckos by placing the eggs in settlements.
Even better would be to just have them and Cazadors spawn in Nuka World only.
If I remove the "Leveled NPC" file from the plugin in FO4Edit, would that do the trick?
Your best bet would be to look at the individual geckos in xeditand check the use info on them, then remove every instance that they've been added to. This will avoid breaking the mod and offer the most compatibility. Unfortunately that would mean that outside from the singular quest you won't ever have any geckos around.
the new vegas geckos were always adorable as hell. The animations are perfect, i currently have 2 geckos in my main settlement and just placed a golden gecko egg.
I couldn't find any information about this so I might as well ask...Is Geck the only possible Gecko companion? I mean like for example, if I wanted a fire Gecko to come with me, would it be possible?
