For anyone playing in 2020, this mod does work. However, it only affects the generic wooden "lemonade stand" version of the surgery center. The other clinic types do not gain the benefits of this mod. I saw no increase, using console commands to check the max target happiness, with the more modern "supermarket" version surgery centers I had already placed. So I scrapped them, and placed new ones. Still no affect. So then I placed a new lemonade stand version, and it shot up to 100 max target happiness. I scrapped it, and it dropped straight back down to 77 point something. So if you don't mind the lemonade stand version, have at it. For me, I don't like the lemonade stand version for a surgery center. Anyway... that's my two cents.
2 questions: When will you update this, and when you do, could u make a slightly' tamer' version that affects ALL shops?
Other question, I have a feeling, was hoping for confirmation, but this only affects default vanilla 'lemon-aid stand' surgery ? (I ask because use 'better stores' and since replacing all my old stands, happiness has dropped down to 80ish % again and then back up to 90 and stands there since)
