I apologize if Im asking something stupid. Im really new to outfit studio and trying to use the guide but where does one get conversion templates for the reference? Is there somewhere someone could download a vanilla to cbbe template or something like that? OK never mind, it was brought to my attention that those should have been included already and a reinstall fixed it. My bad

high, i'm using your guide to convert an outfit from cbbe to fusion girl. everything works fine until i load the conversion reference; it makes it so the outfit clips so heavily it's barely seen over the body itself.

Hey just curious, I'm trying to use this guide to convert over your classy chassis Eli Armor Compendium over to Fusion Girl, however once I open the saved nif in nifscope(step 4) the outfit imports as completely pink? I'm guessing this is because the textures are stored with the default Eli armor mod, which I do have installed but is there something separate I would have to do to import out the texture? or is this even a real issue(like will it still just use the textures from the base mod since it's a requirement for the Classy Chassis variant).

Edit1: was a new user problem with nifSkope, just needed to set file paths under Options>Settings >Resources(For anyone else new to this)

Also wanted to note that when opening in nifscope, the entire outfit seems to be there but the cbbe body mesh doesn't seem to have exported out with the rest of the outfit.

Also side note just wanted to say I love the armors and your work on the Classy chassis mods, it's so nice to have some tasteful armor replacers, like yeah I'd like things to be a bit more revealing but god I don't need every outfit to be just a couple of strings with every possible bit of skin showing. If you've got anything else in the works for the future I'm excited to see what else you'll be working on.

Hi I think there is a problem, what if the outfit has a high heel or something like that. I just want to make my outfit from CBBE to CBBE Reduced as step 7 to step 10

Hello GrafPanzer.I have a problem, I started to add dismemberment to a big mod, but I'm deadlocked with the Nifskope program. At point 10, I can't open the (cutt offsets) part to copy it.

Change the Number of Cut Offsets value first, then click the refresh icon to update the Cut Offsets value.

Ahh. And for the torso? should i have only 1 cut or none?
is that the suit was made in 2 pieces even if it is only 1.
This is the suit I want to give an idea.

I have one more question, is it normal that the legs of Fusion's body have no cuts?
I also see that the ID bones do not match the ones in the PDF file
what do I do for the legs?

Only segments 2 and 4 have cuts.  Leg segments 1, 2, 3 and 5 do not.  Like this:

Yes I did it. I already added the dismemberment function to a suit :D
It is quite easy but without your guidance and help I would have no idea how to start or what to do. Thank you.

Hello again haha. I am having a persistent problem.
      Captura-de-pantalla-519-LI — ImgBB (ibb.co)
I don't know if this is the problem. Well, I found some arm bones in the (boots). But their numbers do not appear in the body (Reduced) that you uploaded.
      Captura-de-pantalla-520-LI — ImgBB (ibb.co)
I already took care of segmenting everything in Outfit studio and put its respective name in each segment, but I don't get anything. I only have this boots left and I don't know what to do...

The most curious thing is that this problem is only in the left leg, not both, and the piece is not complete either.

Hi Graf, I followed ur method after long and ardious journey of trial and error, but i still ended up with Hollowed Pants without Flesh Cap when dismember occured in the legs, any idea why ?

I also noticed that we had similliar approach that uses small amount of CBBE Reduced / Fusion Girl Reduced limb mesh to make dismemberment works, remove that and dismemberment wont work anymore ... althought Segments already been assigned in Outfit studio, CutOffsett also already been assigned inside the Nifskope and structured exactly like CBBE Reduced / Fusion Girl  mesh.

I still don't have any idea why the game refuse to dismember our own custom meshes altought it structured exactly like the dismemberable ones without that little trick i mentioned above.

Hmm, not sure what you're doing to cause hollowed pants.  Are you following the directions to add CutOffset data in NifSkope?  That's a manual copy/paste process for each mesh that has limb segments; it's not automatic.  You also need to make sure your .ssf files include all of the limb segments for each mesh, and that each mesh's .ssf file path reference (in the OS Segments tab) is correct.  The outfit should not need to include any part of the body if the body does not show.  My hooded cleanroom suit, for example, doesn't include any body meshes.

      Thanks for replying,

Yep, I'm already adding every single necessary SubSegment since the first day i convert CBBE Armor to CBBE Reduced Armor and creating custom .ssf for each mesh that would be dismembered.

It always succedd except the dismembered limb always hollow.

And now, i follow your step that involved with adding/copying every single CutOffset in Nifskope, but still ended with Hollowed Dismembered Legs.

I Assumed The Poly or Vertex count isn't a problem, since mesh come from a discontinued Online Game ported by someone else outside of Nexus .... All visuals, minus dismemberment functionality

I suspect this is caused by something in the mesh itself, but i still couldn't point out where it is, despite all of my attempts & experimentations

Should i just send you the files i'm working on ?
.esp , modified .nif , and a custom made .ssf

Btw, This is for my personal use only, i didn't have a plan to release/re-release it on nexus.
In order to release it, i have to made the model from the scratch myself. it's all due The textures won't suffcient for RTX guys, and the meshes hard to confrom Bodyslide Sliders.
Basically this .nif is a nightmare for customize-ability

Just a Conclusion i got from my various trial with GrafPanzer here.

If you had same problem with me, probably your SubSegments differs vastly from Vanilla's (or in my case Fusion Girl Reduced's) Subsegment.

The border of each subsegment must be positioned at exact position where the vanilla's one were positioned

If your Modded Armour mesh don't have the exact position of edges to get the job done, just try to make it as close as possible to your reference ... This is what i did and fortunately it works most of the time for me.

Or if you want to go perfectionist route, add more edges at exact position in Blender.

This is very cool, albeit a mite beyond my skills at the moment. I'm curious though, does this mean your outfit replacers support dismemberment? Because I was under the impression (just from my own experience playing with them I guess) that they did not. Great work regardless!

The FG versions of my CCO replacers support dismemberment, yes.  The CBBE ones do not because the CBBE body does not.

    I have some doubts.
In point 1 of the guide. You say that you have to make a backup, this is a general or partial backup of the outfit, that is, I have to click on the name of the file in the section (mesh) and hit export or I must select only the unusable bones of the section (bones) and export?

Back up the mesh.  You can either back up the entire outfit or just the mesh that has the special bones.  The instructions say to back it up from the file menu, but you could just back up the individual mesh by right clicking on it in the Meshes tab.

GrafPanzer I have a question regarding suit conversions.I have this error.
      Captura-de-pantalla-211-LI — ImgBB (ibb.co)
The armor is from the Skimpy mod (old) and for CBBE. I did a conversion to FG it works, but when combining the armor with any suit this happens, it widens.
      Captura-de-pantalla-212 — ImgBB (ibb.co) (Nude)

      Captura-de-pantalla-211-LI — ImgBB (ibb.co) (Clothing + Armor)

The bodies are correctly loaded with morphs. and use the preset (Fusion-zeroed sliders)

The problem is that the armor gets bigger when worn over the suit?  That is underarmor scaling.  In the CK, in the ArmorAddon record for the suit, there is a checkbox that says "No Underarmor Scaling".  That checkbox is empty.  If you put a checkmark in that box, the armor will not get bigger, but it will clip terribly with the clothing.  Underarmor scaling is based on SCLP data in the ArmorAddon record, which you can view in FO4Edit.  In my CCO Vulgar Villains mod, I have put custom scaling data in the suit record so that it scales appropriately.  I add it via this script written by Zilav: https://pastebin.com/raw/0SWSbm04

So I need the creation kit to fix it?
If I can fix it, will I have to do the whole CBBE to FG conversion process again?

?It's not a bug, it's a feature!  ;-)  If you want to remove the underarmor scaling, I'd use FO4Edit to edit whatever plugin you have that's adding armor scaling.  Go to each ArmorAddon record you want to edit, right-click on the Bones entry, and click Remove.  You'll have to do that for each variant of the outfit (the suit has many variants).  https://i.imgur.com/squuVY8.jpg

Ahhh thank you very much, now I understand.
But I have one more complication...
Theoretically, in (armor addon) there should be each and every one of the garments that the mod adds, right?
The suit that I want to modify belongs to the mod (Skimpy armor and clothing) but said garment (the metal armor) does not appear. what I do?

Maybe it's not that mod that's adding the scaling.  In FO4Edit, load up all your mods and then look for AAClothesSuit under Fallout4.esm.  When you select it, the right-hand window should show all the mods that affect that ArmorAddon record.

Look, I'm doing it again. Load (the main one, the metal armor), the naked body, and the army clothes (lazman), which is what I am wearing in the photo. Captura-de-pantalla-225 — ImgBB (ibb.co) I use the preset (zeroed) because I have Bodygen.
But now I realize one thing. The armor I want to use does not work with any undergarments (except for clothing like the ones in the shelter)
Will the undergarment be the one that should be configured? And if so, how do I do it? The Lazman mod is not a plugin.

edit:oh by the way this happens only with my conversion. metal armor (vanilla FG) does not have this problem.

I'm not sure what's going wrong, and this conversation is getting too long for the comments section.  I suggest asking for help in the Mod Help channel of the Fusion Girl Discord server.  berrako#9306 is pretty good at this stuff.
